Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

My hope? [He repeats, the suspicion melting away instantly and replaced by sheer amusement. Edgar does get what he means by that very well. He also supposes that Allan could be called that, yes. His friend, partner and savior. His hope, yes. But he's not here.]

These are for me. It's my first time I've seen roses around here.

Oh.......[Well that did not tell him anything about the boy's reaction to the blood but he'll work with what he's got.] Well, that is true, come to think of it. I haven't seen anything of the sort here either. I mean, there are plants, but....

There are plants but none of them are the same as back at home. [Or at least when his home world is concerned. It's quite interesting to see the similarities and differences between the old familiar and the new unknown. Now, only if it didn't limit his chances to eat.]

I'm going to see if I can plant these.

Let's hope you succeed. Seeing roses here certainly be a refreshing change from the scenery we already have. [And while he's not a gardening expert, Komaeda does love pretty things.]
