Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

Seel took a few more bites to make Swift happy and taking another gulp of sheh before eyeing the exit. Then he gave his chesnari a confident smirk and tilted his head.

"Let's make it not very long at all. What do you say we head back and find out?"

It was a distinct possibility that Seel might not drop the charade. He was slipping back into it and it was so easy. The sad part was he honestly wasn't sure if he'd drop it or not. Self-aware indeed.

Swift wanted to sigh, but Seel had fulfilled the agreement and at least tried to be in public for a few moments. Instead he bit it back and kept smiling, nodding once and grabbing a bottle.

"Did you want to stockpile some of this while we have it?"

Seel's full intention was to stockpile most of it. Smiling and nodding to Swift, Seel pivoted on his chair and released the hand he was holding, grabbing some more bottles of sheh and putting them in his pockets, before grabbing more and handing them to Swift. They should have brought bags.

"Maybe we should get a bag." The closest he had was his shirt, and he was sure that Swift would object if he took it off to use as a sheh carrying bag.

"You'll have to come back." That might deter him from making another trip, but it was the truth. They didn't have a bag with them and Swift hadn't even thought to bring one.

"But I suppose if you want, I can't stop you. It isn't as if we're going to get much more of this later."

That did deter Seel. He really wanted the sheh, but he wasn't sure if he went home he'd be coming back. And Swift was wearing a dress. He sighed and look stock of the bottles.

"How horrified will you be if I took my shirt off to use to carry more bottles?" Necessity. Invention. Sorry Swift.

"In lieu of my hostling I think I'm required to say I would be very horrified, but if you think you can manage to escape without being seen, I might be convinced to look the other way." So much for being polite at a party. At least Cobweb wasn't around to see it.

If Cobweb were around Seel wouldn't have even breathed a suggestion of it. The fit Swift's hostling would have thrown would have been even more legendary than he was. But Swift was right, it was not very polite. But he wasn't in a very polite mood at the moment. He looked around, not entirely sure he could get away with no one seeing. And scooped up what he could carry. Would it have killed you to wear a dress with pockets Swift?

Well, excuse him for not realizing they'd be stealing multiple bottles of alcohol. At least it looked like Seel was keeping his clothes on, although he really couldn't decide whether or not that was a good thing considering Seel's mood and what he was trying to accomplish.

Swift at least did grab what he could carry as well and headed toward the exit. Better to leave sooner than later now that both their arms were full of bottles.
