Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

[ Rita is expecting nearly anything but that, but beyond a slight raising of her eyebrows, she keeps the shock back.

See, any other time, with any other person, the answer would be no. Being Liv's roommate had only been enjoyable (sort of) because poking at her sore spot with references to symptoms of the zombie virus had been kind of amusing, and sleeping with Major to torment them both had been downright fun. In general, Rita likes to be alone in her kingdom, as it were. Privacy and quietness are nice.

She doesn't really have either of those here, and on top of that, there are weirdos with swords who like killing people for no reason. Furthermore, only three people know what she is. Serah is one of them, and also the one who knows her least and therefore thinks the best of her. A goodie-goodie is as good an ally as she'll get here, and sure, Drake fits the bill, but men are needy and gross, and she doesn't want him to think they have to be besties because they're both zombies.

Strategically, this would be a good arrangement. Outside of that? Well, hey, maybe it'll help kill the boredom. ]

Sure. [ She shrugs, smiles (read: smirks)!a little. ] We'll probably get first pick.

( Well. That's a relief. Serah smiles at the affirmation, none the wiser to the reasoning behind it and just glad she doesn't have to live alone any more. It's strange how quickly you get tired of it. )

Yeah, probably. ( Her laugh is almost breathless relief. Another point for Hadriel, really. She now has a roommate.

... And a whole lot of good food and drink to enjoy. )
