Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

I'm plenty adventurous. You should hear half the things I done. [She crosses her arms over her chest, pout tugging at her lips.] I just don't food's something to get adventurous 'bout.

[She watches Elena eat, looking like she half expects the woman to drop dead at any second.]

That could be full up on poison or made out of something's insides. Is it makin' you sick?

Nope. It's delicious. Kinda salty-sweet.

[She won't get a second one, though, because she wants to save room to try a little of everything.]

I wouldn't mind hearing about some of those adventures.

Like candy that's been dropped in sand? [She has very limited experience when types of food or flavor.] Give it a few minutes. Not everything makes you sick right off the bat.

[She gives a brief flash of a crooked smile.] You like hearin' stories? I think a lotta the ones I got are best saved for nights and campfires. But I got plenty I don't mind sharin', just depends on what you wanna hear.

Are you kidding? I'm a journalist. I love stories.

[People don't always like telling stories to journalists, though.]

I wouldn't broadcast yours, though. I'm just interested in people.

Journalist? [She eyes Elena speculatively.] You write in mags and stuff? Like, real ones. Not the dirty stuff.

Sayin' stuff like that's an easy way to get people to talk so you can sell some print. Not that I care. I wouldn't tell anyone anything I was afraid of gettin' out. [The real secrets she played close to the vest.] What kind stories do you like?
