Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

Hmmm, [Lup draws out with a grin, pushing herself off of the wall onto slightly unsteady feet. Lucky for her, those natural elven graces kick in or she'd be flat on her face by now.]

That means I'll have to share it, which like, I'm not a huge fan of. But what the hay. C'mon, little man. Follow me to the promised land.

[Aw yeah, gonna get drunk with an elf lady. Sometimes, Hadriel is pretty okay. This conversation is going pretty okay too. He follows her along and takes a deep breath and long sigh.]

It's okay, I think there's plenty. And hey, let's not lie to ourselves... I won't be devastated if everyone else misses out. Ya know? [he shrugs and finishes what's left in his glass as they walk.]

[It's rare, sure, but sometimes this place doesn't completely suck. Tonight just happens to be one of those nights. And knowing the shitty gods in charge? They'll all wake up with the worst hangovers of their life because of it.

The elf's grin curls at that, before she's slipping close to give his shoulder a playful nudge with one of hers, the action only making her wobble for a second before she's walking right back normally at his side.]

I'll drink to that. You an' me hogging what's left.
