Event Log: A Hope for the Future

What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

[He laughs at the description lightly. Intense is one word for it sure, although not one he would have used. But it is fascinating to hear mechanics behind the magic. In fact he'd like to hear and see more. Fortunately for him it looks like Taako is in love with his own voice that he most likely would tell him anything he wants. At least so far he's been giving him anything he's wanted.

And speaking of that...]

Hah. You sure did. Guess I should show you proper appreciation then, wizard.

[And with that he moves his free hand underneath his and gently lifts it up while also leaning down himself. He brings the hand up to his lips but just before closing the gap he turns it over, palm up and presses his lips against the skin on near the wrist.

It'd be a lie to say that this hadn't crossed his mind at all. The bowl of blood lies on the table next to them but it doesn't have any appeal to Edgar at all, not when there's warm and fresh blood running through wizard's body. His front teeth barely touches the skin but that doesn't stop him from tasting the blood. His cold fingertips were already manipulating the blood, making it to rush towards his lips where he could drain the energy.

It's just like what he did with the rose before.

The kiss is over just as quickly as it began. It's brief, harmless and most importantly: painless. There will be no mark on his wrist once he's done.]

[Admittedly, Taako isn't actually sure what Edgar is planning here. He doesn't know what he even wants out of it- a good time, something interesting, something new. But Taako is cautious, and impeccably good at survival- while his teammates have died closer to 70 or 80 deaths by now, his own number is barely scraping 20. For all the dangers he's encountered, if there's any way to live through it, he will.

So he's a little wary as Edgar moves, takes his hand, and watches maybe a bit too intently at the action.

But as soon as Edgar can see him again, his face is still smiling and lazy. Best not to let him suspect, after all, what kind of game they're playing.]

Wow, fancy moves there, slick. Good show of appreciation though. Into it.

[And because he won't bend over, he moves to take Edgar's fingers in his, brings his hand to his lips and gives it a little peck.]

Thanks for the trick, bubbleh. Hope I'll get to see more.
