Event Log: A Hope for the Future

Who: All characters participating in the event
What: The event log for the A Hope for the Future event
Where: All over the city!
When: April 15th-April 19th
Warnings: Stealth Rock

It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.

There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!

To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!

[ Party just...stares. Stares this squinty stare of suspiciousness, which, to be quite honest, is te one he dons most of the time.]

Ain't never ate a lot. [ Said in a tone meaning he clearly does not entirely believe Tucker is being truthful. ]

Then I guess that just proves my point, doesn't it?

[He shrugs, trying to act like he doesn't care all that much.]

Just one of those things, you know?

[ He keeps on staring like he's trying to read Tucker. Something about that whole thing and the way he's talking feels entirely too fishy. He scrunches up his nose, but then decides that this isn't worth it and why would he care anyway?

He looks at the deer again. It reminds him of zombie movies. But he's only seen the old ones with shitty makeup and props.]

S' gonna rot.

[nowherewolf]

Well yeah, if you keep me from eatin' it.

[But he has a feeling that Party isn't going to just... leave. In an act of what might be spite and what might be good old fashioned trolling, Tucker reaches out, lifts the deer's hind leg, and just sort of tears a chunk out of it with his teeth.]

[ You know, Party's used to trolling. He's used to gross dares. He's used to gross-out humor. But he still gives Tucker a completely disgusted look for the horror he bestowed upon Party's eyes. ]
