Seth looked out where the kid directed. His mouth was slightly agape, while trying to sort out what was going on. "Would you look at that," he uttered rhetorically. "Water front livin'." That was his plan for retirement. Back home, anyway.
He panned back to Leo with a half smile in place. "What, you don't like the water?" Seth asked with amusement heavy in his voice until taking a second to look at the adopted brother.
No. No, he didn't. Leo looked in a way that Seth had never seen him look before.
"Hey, what is it? Can water hurt you somehow?" he immediately asked before Leo had much of a chance to answer what Seth had asked previously. He understood the Sunai turned into something that smoldered but Seth wasn't the Gecko brother who would've immediately thought of chemical reactions.
But he was the brother who would instantly sit and put an arm around to comfort the other. Seth clasped Leo's face between his hands to urge the demon to look at him. "I'll find a boat. Make sure you never set foot in the water."
