You wake up on the hard earth of the colosseum. By the state of things and the various aches and pains in your body, you've probably been passed out there for awhile. A few things should immediately become clear to you upon an initial assessment.1. You're not aloneOf all of these alarming things, the skittery object might be your largest concern. Be wary when turning corners or shutting out the lights: the Hunters work best when your vision is obscured, so their gelatinous form is even harder to spot. Their main goal will be to kill people of course, though they prefer to hide in corners and smaller rooms. Watch out when trying to work through the halls of the colosseum to find the outdoors- they're surprisingly quick, and they prefer to kill their prey by opening their face-flaps and wrapping their mouths around your head. Fun!
2. You're near other people who look to be in a similar state.
3. You're also near an assortment of human shaped lamps.
4. You're also near something that skitters off into the shadows of the colosseum.
More information on Hunters can be found here!
Second largest concern? Maybe it's the people lamps. Maybe it's the actual people around you. Whatever it is, be sure to familiarize yourself with it quickly. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't, after all.
All done with the horrible monsters and awkward greetings? Try your hand at exploring the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies until your little heart is content. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers November 10th-17th.
► Feel free to make your own logs, as well!
► All characters now arrive with phones that have network communication.

The shadows were too dark for him to shoot into, thus his hand rested on the metal hilt of his sword, ready to draw at any sign of threat. Threat not only to himself, but to any of the people currently waking up and milling about.
"I have been hearing them since I have awoken, though I cannot tell how many there are."

Z rolled her shoulders. Her joints creaked a little with the effort, but it felt good to get her body moving. "Looks like everyone's near one of those awful lamps." That should keep them safe, for however long they stay on. "We can't stay here forever, though." They'd have to cross the darkness eventually.
She felt her belt for her morpher, sighing quietly when she found it. At least she'd be able to fight if it got to that.
"How many people do you think there are?" If Jack were here, he'd want to save every last one of them. Without him, she felt that way, too, but the heroic wish was tempered by reality. There was only so much anyone could do for people who couldn't help themselves out in some way, and a sacrifice, heartfelt though it might be, would be meaningless if everyone else died anyway.

He did have to agree with her assessment, staying here would be foolish, getting out should be the priority of each and every person.
"Do you fight?" First question, in the current circumstance the most important as well. Some of the people were obviously fighters themselves, they wouldn't exactly need much aid, though it would still be best to team up. Against an unknown number of enemies, their strength lay in numbers as well. "And as important should be my next question," he added with a small, apologetic smile, "What do I call you?"
Manners were easy to forget in tense situations, after all.

At his first question, she nodded. "Unarmed, mostly, but I can morph and call weapons if I need to." Just to be sure, she felt her belt for her morpher, nodding when she found it. Then, she glanced at him, noticed where his hand was. Good, they were both armed.
And at his next question, she smiled, too, wry and amused. It was so mundane and simple, in the face of the horrors all around them, that it shook her out of the mental space of planning how far and how fast she could run before she had to stop amd fight. "Call me Z. What's your name?"
