The morning of April 15th in Hadriel is cheerful, with artificial light streaming through your window. Your blankets are warm, jabberjays are shrieking, and you're probably going to experience a murder attempt today.
Maybe it'll be from a stranger, maybe it'll be from a friend, but the bottom line is that everybody is after somebody and nobody is safe (...okay, twelve people are safe, but that's beside the point). Time will only tell when you'll be overcome by that murderous rage and try to kill someone else. The best thing you can probably do at this point is stay calm, keep your head high, and try not to die for the next eight days.
Helpfully, Rage will have restocked her armory for the event, for those of you have yet to arm themselves. Additionally, for a limited time only, the armory will be stocked with bear traps, tripwire (in both 'general wire' and 'barbed wire' flavor), and voice recorders. Use all of them, use none of them, just get on out there and kill each other!
Oh, and one last thing...► This log covers April 15th-23rd.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► Please tag headers of threads with content warnings where they apply
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!
► Did your assassin catch up to you? Please remember to hit up our death post!

For now, she's minding her own business until -
... Fiona's going to essentially just try and play it cool.
Horribly so. ]
...Things no one bothers to tell me.

That's something you ought to have found out for yourself. I think you know as well as I do that in this world, people do not just tell you things.

The attitude makes her stop, immediately crossing her arms in an unimpressed lean back. ]
How old are you? Don't tell me a kid is going to seriously school me on blending in and getting my shit together.
[ She's not going to comment on anything else - ego's sake and all that. For the record, she totally thinks being uneducated on the ongoings is valid given her time of arrival. ]

[ Arya lies, easily. She can tell Fiona's already doubting her, and telling Fiona that she's actually twelve would just make things worse. Arya would say she's sixteen, but really, she can't pass for that. Stupid lousy baby face. ]
Someone has to school you. You need it.
[ At least Arya can be snarky with the best of them. ]

[ Fiona doesn't push her, instead scoffing and rolling her eyes. She's not that stupid, okay!! She just has to completely keep herself from sassing off to this kid. ]
I don't need anything. Cut me some slack, I just got here.
[ Please grow on her because she's finding you way worse than her kid sister ever was in the sass department. ]
Acting pretty smug - got a reason for that?

[ Arya shrugs. That's an accomplishment enough, to be alive at her age, when others are not. She might as well enjoy it, because she sure has fought for it. Arya doesn't really believe in slack -- no one cut her any slack because she was younger. Had she not fled King's Landing, who knows if she would have survived at all? ]
That is enough.

[ That's... morbid. She's not exactly sure how to feel about that. In some strange way, it makes sense - Fi knows that. Pandora was pretty tough too and if she didn't end up raising Sasha and herself the right way, they would have been completely bandit fodder by now. ]
Being smug is way different than being confident. If you've survived this long, congrats, so did others.
[ She crosses her arms in a super adult way. Because that helps matters. Acting like an adult, right? ]
Getting a big head is the perfect way to get it chopped off.

[ Arya thinks she's acting perfectly acceptably, thank you very much. This lady is the one with the attitude problem. Arya crosses her arms right back.
That smug grin turns into an outright glare at Fiona's next remark. Arya can take a lot of comments -- but beheading isn't one of them. Not after watching that happen to her father. That was the tragedy that started it all, that in a way, made her like this. Tough and untrusting and smug at best. ]
You know nothing of heads, or losing them. [ Arya snarls. ] I know exactly how they are lost, and usually, those with the large heads are doing the chopping. [ And they'll pay for it, too. ]
