( It isn't unusual to see Kate flitting about the city on any given day, but when the Door opens, she becomes even more frantic, a blur of pink and yellow with a quarterstaff strapped to her back and a heavy pouch strapped to her thigh. While most of her time is spent at the Colosseum - helping newbies or staring at the ground fixatedly in a way that may seem just a little bit strange if you don't know about recent revelations - she does make her way back to the clinic every so often to check on the state of it. Perhaps with a patient, if necessary.

She does this less than she used to, but enough that you can probably catch her coming or going, sunglasses perched in her hair despite the overcast weather of Hadriel's current location.

(She likes to pretend it makes the Door's power less vibrant, but it doesn't do much, if anything.) )

( During reconstruction of the Guard HQ and clinic in the wake of the Null's invasion all those months ago, the forethought was had to create a room in the headquarters which would serve as a space for the clinic to use if necessary.

With the two buildings being separated, that room has come in more use than Kate imagined, and she spends part of her week there, restocking supplies as needed and bouncing from the room to the training area. Staying still was never her strength, so her downtime is used to train, to rearrange things. Even just to talk to any of the guard members she sees around the building.
