initial mingle;
There's no playing wallflower in this crowd! Come here with intros! Say hi to each other! You know the drill!]

Hi! I'm Tinya. I responded to your network post?
no subject
Lup was lucky when she first popped into Hadriel. With the exception of a few missing folks, she already had a built in family and support network here, but she is well aware that isn't the norm. And especially since they've moved to the islands, it's more difficult for folks to connect, to run into one another and make friends.
So if she can help facilitate some of those friendships by dragging a bunch of girls together and letting them go wild, she's happy to keep throwing these things together.]
Hey! [The elf grins, waving the other woman in closer when she first spies her. If it hadn't been obvious over the network that she was an elf, it certainly is now.] Sup, chickadee. How's tricks?
no subject
she's glad to have the chance to make friends. Tinya thrives on being social, on having lots of friends she can turn to in any set of circumstances, and being taken from that social circle has her seriously off-balance.
she puts a brave face on and goes over to Lup] They're fine. I'm still trying to get settled in. It's really different from home.

your friendly neighborhood murderpotato
[He's pretty much here to get shitfaced and hang around with Lup. It's two of his favorite things, really, alcohol and letting Lup talk his ear off about whatever juicy gossip has been going around this former murdercave.]
[So, you want the booze? Gotta grab it from this asshole.]

When the introductions finish and all of the girls start to mingle together, breaking off into smaller groups to start making plans for the afternoon, Lup slips up to Gren's lanky side and plops an elbow on his shoulder, leaning into him like she's done a million times before. After nearly a year of knowing one another, Gren's as familiar as anything in this place.]
We're setting off fires and getting shit-faced tonight, right? Usual plan?
no subject
Yeah, sure, why the fuck not? Let's fuck some shit up.
[They are terrible influences on each other. Gren will enable any awful, property-damage driven plan that Lup suggests.]
Got somebody in mind? If we're going after the fuckin' powers that be again, my vote's on Love. Fuck that glowcloud bitch.

Re: initial mingle;
...Hi, I'm Jo. I've been in Hadriel for too long.
a monster and a monster hunter walk into a bar
[But it's like, a shitty club? So probably you don't want to join it. It's full of bullshit and alcoholism.]
We ain't got t-shirts, but I got some fuckin' whiskey so that's probably a better deal anyway.
[Accept a bottle of whiskey from this weird one-armed motherfucker: y/n.]
oh fun
Jo happily accepts the whiskey and digs out a cup to pour herself much more than one shot.]
Matching t-shirts are for lame people anyway.
but the real killer here is his 80s sense of fashion
jo isn't judging

campfire;
But Lup's campfire - magical, of course - is the perfect relief for the chilly wind.
Here's for any outdoor fun. Sit by the fire, tell stories, roast s'mores, go for a dip in the ocean if you can stand the cold - anything at all!]
for lup :3c
As usual, though, she is out on her own. Maybe she needs a little help getting back into the party, or someone to join her.]

Without warning, a blanket is dropped along the other woman's shoulders, thick and warm and so very soft, before Lup slips into view and plops down onto the ground at Alphys' side. With her hands stretched out behind her, propping herself up, the elf tips her head back and follows the trail of glittering stars upwards - up and up and up until her whole head is tilted back.
It's a view that never gets old, not after Lup spent so long without the stars, but her handful of years is nothing compared to how long it's been for Alphys. This moment is special for the younger woman, and Lup is happy to do what she can to make it as memorable as possible.]
So, what's your favorite?
no subject
At Lup's words, she tilts her head a moment, looking quickly between her and the sky.]
My favorite... s-star?
[She never knew much about the sky. That was always Sans. But she looks back like she's trying to pick or find any discernible difference.]
I mean, they, uh... they all kind of look the same? I think. Maybe I haven't looked at them enough.

what? just because she's not looking for a relationship, it doesn't mean that she doesn't want admiration. she thrives on such things. so she wades hip-deep into the water and splashes some at those on the shore]
Come and join me! The water's not as cold as it looks!
no subject
As for relationships, he was always looking for something. It was a pity Margaery was a woman though. Not one to shy away from nudity, Seel unbuckled the ties and belts of which there were far too many for such a skimpy outfit and let it fall to the floor. It should have been immediately obvious he was not human. And did not care in the least.]
As long as it doesn't smell like sulfur it can be any temperature and I'll be happy.
[He loved Saltrock, and using that sulfur lake had been smart, but let's face it. His little town stunk. Literally.]
no subject
she's waiting for the chance to go back to a man she loves and is pining after an elf she knows she cannot have, so that's quite enough for any heart to bear. and she doesn't look directly at him as he undresses, that would be rude, but she gets a good enough look to know that yes, he's no human man]
I can assure you it doesn't. It smells like [she takes a sniff] some kind of seaweed with a hint of salt.
[anything would smell better than Blackwater Bay]

Re: No need to apologize! <3
indoors and ready for cuddling;
With six bedrooms and a whole lot of floor space, there's just enough space for any of the folks who want to tag along. Indoors and out of the rain is the perfect time to build a blanket fort or to get your cuddle on with someone close. Make new friends, reconnect with old ones, whatever you like!]
no subject
but in the meantime, she's happy with the friends she has here, Lup being one of the foremost among them. she's got her blanket fort all open and ready for anyone to join her and she might have a flask of almost-whiskey to share with those who do]
no subject
Instead, she's brought an extreme amount of blankets to make a pile wherever they end up sleeping. And some food to share.]
Now, where are the drinks?
no subject
I don't know. Someone has to have something, right?
no subject
I didn't have anything to bring myself.
no subject
Neither did I. I didn't know I was supposed to bring something.
