No monsters arrived with the newbies - great! One less thing to worry about. Except it never quite works out that way, does it? Maybe the Door was just delayed a little, because on the 12th, a few monsters start appearing. And then more. And then more. Where's the off switch?! Oh right, no one knows.
Some of these monsters you might recognize, some your best friend from another world might be very familiar with. Some might be creatures you've never imagined. But don't worry, they all have one thing in common - they'd all be happy to tear you to itty bitty pieces. Or eat your liver. Or consume your soul. Or just scare the shit out of you, that's fun too.
So lock your doors and stay inside, and hope nothing breaks in through the windows. Alternately, now's a great time to get your hero on and go out and smack some monsters around. It's great exercise, and there's nothing better for stress relief! Just avoid those big scary fangs.► This log covers October 12th-17th.

As Abigail made comment on the antlers and then about how the monster looked as if it knew them, Will nodded slowly, looking back over his shoulder to glance upon her face. She seemed so intrigued by it, as was Will- But being intrigued by such a creature came with dangerous consequences.
"You're not wrong."
Will uttered, trying to slowly step to his side, putting himself between the Wendigo and Abigail, just in case, not unlike the man it represented, it wanted to harm Abigail, just to get to Will.
"Stay behind me, Abigail... Don't get too close."
As Will spoke, as he moved to keep the two apart, the monster tipped it's head curiously, a frown furrowing on its obsidian brow. It too, came to a stand, outstretching those long, faun-like legs and coming to a hauntingly tall height. It must have been close to 7 or even 8 feet tall!. The being towered over the two of them, reaching out with a spindly, taloned hand, making a gesture for them to come closer.
Will could feel the fear in him, rise up, like some uncooked part of a meal he shouldn't have eaten.

"I'm so sorry, Will. I always get too close."
Between her father, Hannibal and Leo, she always trusted the most dangerous ones. She even sought them out for that familiar bond or the feeling that they could understand her and help her to overcome her nightmares. She stretched her arm out with her hand reaching for the creature's hand. She stopped herself just before her fingers reached its talons. She pulled her arm back and reached for Will's hand instead.
"How does it know us?"
