Neither did I. These ones do, though. I just hope that they're slower or shyer than they look, because otherwise we could be in trouble.

[she reaches out tentatively to pat his arm]

You were hopeful enough. It's just--the aliens. We can't understand them, not really, and I don't think they understand us. [she sighs] And who knows? This could be an honest mistake. At least they know where we were going. With any luck, they'll be here soon and things will go back to normal.
