What: fixing up anyone who needs medical attention, as well as first aid and/or healing lessons
Where: the clinic mostly, but potentially anywhere
When: from the STAMPEDE on, open until the next mingle for anyone to stop by
Warnings: possibly injuries

[ Stampeding wildlife seems like it's going to cause a few injuries, so why not a place to get patched up afterwards? The Clinic Mingle is here for all your needs and then some. Just want to come by and chat with your fellow staff, or a friend on staff? It works for that too. First aid or healing lessons? Hoping for a new supply kit? Got a headache you can't shake? Or did you just fall into the lake or hang out outside a bit too long and think you might have hypothermia? Come on in! Anyone just looking to help out is also very much welcome. ]

[Nope he is not coming down from here, he's ceiling crawling his way out and KNOCK OUT CAN'T STOP HIM. Except that he totally can because Peter's reflexes are garbage right now because he is, in fact, still leaking. And now he's leaving blood smears on the ceiling like a slob.]

[ Like a bizarre and ironic parody of catching an escaping insect, Knock Out puts himself between Peter and the door, reaching up to try and snag him. Which would be easier if the outfit was somewhat less skintight, he could at least get a digit on some loose material, but no. He is at the very least trying to avoid putting more holes in Peter. ]

I know what I'm doing! It can't be that hard. You don't need welds or line clamps or nanite infusions. You're acting like a bigger mechling than a skittish Vehicon, and I will absolutely tell your roommates about all of this.

Nooo! You can't do this to Spider-Man! What even is a Vehicon!? You're making up words!

[He says that, and does a little wiggling around in order to avoid getting snatched off the ceiling. BUT, when Knock Out threatens to tattle on him, he huffs and just stops struggling. VERY WELL, you may pluck this dumb boy from the ceiling.]

Okay, okay, fine. But if you try to give me an oil change, I'm outtie.

[ VICTORY! And Knock Out appreciates his victories. A deft nip and Peter's back down on the floor like a proper patient (it'll be someone else's job to clean up the ceiling smears, so he spares them hardly a glance). The thing is, he actually did study human anatomy (reluctantly, and not without a bit of squeamishness due to their overall messy attributes because of Silas, so he's reasonably confident he won't hurt Peter more than he already is. ]

A Vehicon is a soldier-frame split into one of two types, wheeled or flight. They comprise the bulk of the Decepticon forces at the moment. Why would I make up words, Spider-Man?

[ Bandages are getting applied with surprising alacrity to the worst of Peter's injuries, though the look of concentration of Knock Out's face belies that it takes more than casual effort not to cut him with his claws because humans are so squishy, but the medic is nothing if not fastidious with his movements. ]

If you got these fighting those creatures, you should consider another job. You don't appear to be very skilled at it.

[You win this round, robo-doc. And really, Peter is pretty impressed with the fact that this dude's not just jabbing him with those weird needlefingers. This isn't going as bad as he'd expected.]

I'll have you know that spider and man are not made up words at all.

[Peter's pulled his mask off by the time Knock Out starts patching him up, and he is absolutely rolling his eyes. But he is doing a good job of sitting still, so at least there's that.]

I got these from fighting those creatures for like two days straight. I zigged when I should have zagged a couple times, this is nothing. I've had way worse.

[ If Knock Out recognizes that Peter's probably younger than he should be to make such a statement, he doesn't give any indication. ]

Then you're bad at it and have no sense of self-preservation. Arm up, slowly, you've got a cracked... rib.

[ See? He didn't even call it a lateral chassis brace. ]

[He's probably been headbutted in the ribs by those mammoths out there a few times, so yeeaaaah that sounds legit. He raises his arm, huffing a bit. Stop calling him out on all of his dumb bullshit, Knock Out. Except don't stop.]

I-- yes I do! And how do you even know that? Do you have x-ray vision?

[ Knock Out gives Peter a deadpan look and wraps under the arm, over the shoulder, and around the chest. It's probably not as neatly done as a human would have been able to do, but he's sure to pull it tight - maybe a little overly so, but that's surely coincidental and not at all related to the fact that Peter made him hope around like a deranged butterfly collector to get them to this point - and secures it. ]

Ew, no, of course I can't. Why would I want to?

Scans are part of a medic's standard build. I merely downloaded the parameters for a hydroxylapatite scan some months ago, the main component of human bones. It doesn't work for your squishy bits, but it'll do.

[Fully deserved. It's okay, Peter's sturdier than your average meatbag. He can handle it. And also he is super interested in this whole scanning thing, because he's a giant nerd.]

Can you only scan for hydroxylapatite, or can you scan for the minerals that comprise it all separately too?

Anything I have a mineral or chemical composition for, in theory, but some things are easier than others. The problem with you carbon-based lifeforms, too much of you is carbon-based.

[ Knock Out finishes the last of the bandages and gives his work a critical look, but seems satisfied. ]

Not bad, if I do say so myself. How does it feel?

Uh, mostly good. It's a little tight like, right around here? But I mean, y'know, mostly good.

[ But he seems pretty pleased with himself, he didn't cut Peter even once! ]

So it that really your name? Spider-Man?

[Good job, Knock Out, you fixed a squishy!! Peter will just have to adjust the bandages later or something.]

[He holds his hand out for a shake, but kind of hesitates a second because how do you even shake hands with bigass robots.]

Thanks for the, uh. Y'know, doctor stuff.

[ He's 1.50/2 on his squishy count now, and you'd better believe he's keeping score. Very gingerly, he'll offer the tips of his digits to Peter to shake. It's only half about not hurting him and at least 3/4 about pesky organic skin oils on his finish. He doesn't suppose waxing products are going to be in bounteous supply in a place like this. But it's nice to be appreciated, especially for medic work. He doesn't get much acknowledgement for his skill on the Nemesis. ]

You're welcome. What about those creatures, are they all gone?

[Peter is a champion at firm handshakes, even when shaking hands with a big ol' robot.]

They were thinning out when I started heading over here. I don't think they're gone yet, though.

For real, though, as long as those things are around, people are going to need help. I shouldn't sit around for too long.

Fine, go. Not the first time I've patched someone up only to watch them get themselves damaged right after.

[ In fact that was a large part of his responsibility as a medic with an army of Vehicons to maintain. ]
