Throughout the next few days, you may find yourself plagued by visions and dreams of back home. The dreams will be lifelike and difficult to tell apart from reality, as the world will be constructed from what you remember of your world. However, unlike usual dreams, you won't be present, and will find yourself unable to be seen or heard by those around you.

The dreams are vivid reminders of what might happen in a world without you: a world in which you disappeared when coming to Hadriel, a world which desperately needs you back for some reason or another. You may see your parents putting up missing posters, your significant other moving onto their next relationship, or even your hated villain finally taking over the world without you there to stop them.

When the vision leaves, you're back here and nothing about the city has changed. Though maybe you have a different outlook on it now...

[See that one little dog ear perk ever so. She's not entirely certain what gross chemical stuff tastes like, so it would be a new one for her.]

They don't taste like too much, unless there's something stuck in them.

[Plenty of cobwebs in the library, after all. Mice too, although the Dog wouldn't eat those unless they'd been prepared with herbs.]

I prefer bones though. Or biscuits. Bread. Soup!

God, I want soup. Any kind of soup. I don't think most of us have had a real meal since we got here.

Perhaps if you ask, people still have it in those cans?

[The Dog had been offered some in the past. Strange, although not too bad, all things considered. She's been able to try a variety of foods since arriving here.]

Oh, yeah, I don't doubt that. Nothin' beats a fresh, homemade soup, though. Especially when it's this cold out.

[At least the dog is easy to please. Peter misses food that doesn't come in cans so bad man]

Well... What do you need? I can track down some of those mice like creatures for you.

[And some questionable vegetation. She's not really a big veggie eater, unless it is in something else.]

I-- y'know, I'm not a super great cook, so I don't know for sure? A couple of my roommates are good cooks, though. I'll have to ask them some time.
