Throughout the next few days, you may find yourself plagued by visions and dreams of back home. The dreams will be lifelike and difficult to tell apart from reality, as the world will be constructed from what you remember of your world. However, unlike usual dreams, you won't be present, and will find yourself unable to be seen or heard by those around you.
The dreams are vivid reminders of what might happen in a world without you: a world in which you disappeared when coming to Hadriel, a world which desperately needs you back for some reason or another. You may see your parents putting up missing posters, your significant other moving onto their next relationship, or even your hated villain finally taking over the world without you there to stop them.
When the vision leaves, you're back here and nothing about the city has changed. Though maybe you have a different outlook on it now...► This log covers January 4th-Januray 8th.
► Please tag headers of threads with content warnings where they apply
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!
► If you try a weird solution to make it back home, please let us know here.

Of them, together.
He didn't like thinking about his feelings very often, didn't even like admitting to himself that this relationship had gone past like and into darker waters where words like love lurked. It felt too much like tempting fate to think the words, let alone say them out loud. ]
I know. We're going back together.
[ It might be a lie, but it was a necessary one that he'd repeat as many times as it took to keep Tucker happy. ]

[But Church wasn't the only one who was thinking of that, was dreading the ease of which this could end, wasn't the only one had started wading out into those dark waters. tucker could go back, all of this could slide through his fingers like sand, and Church...would be here. Left with the pieces. With the memories.
For a being who was essentially memories, it was almost cruel. And for Tucker, who hadn't had actually lo--cared about someone this deeply, to tear it away so it never fucking existed...it terrified him. It was a new level of Hell.
Tucker knew that Epsilon was placating him, saying what he needed to hear, what they both needed to say, but fuck if it didn't feel good. His chest twisted up in knots as he reached out to the other's hair and tugged him in for a kiss, soft, lingering.]
Fucking promise?

He went when Tucker pulled him in, returning the kiss eagerly, hoping it might distract him from the problem at hand. ]
Promise.
[ It was a nice thing to dream about, getting a happy ending where neither one got left behind. Epsilon moved closer, bridging that no man's land of empty space between them and kissed Tuvker again, hungry this time. ]
Not going anywhere without you...

He was sick of burying Church. He was sick of being left behind. He was sick of being the only one with the memories after.
Epsilon's mouth was warm and comforting, and while the hunger was in that kiss (something that just begged to get them going), Tucker wasn't dragged down into that swirl. Maybe this was the first time when the realization was sinking, what balancing act they had going on. How easy it was to lose it all, a whisper on the wind.
It was terrifying, everything he had to lose. How easy it was to watch it go away.]
Fuck, it's late.

So get some sleep.
[ He pulled the blanket in tighter around them, a shield against the world that threatened to intrude when morning came. ]
I'll wake you up if you start having another dream.

It was warm under him. Safe. And the vow of someone saving him from another dream helped more than he was willing to admit. ]
Thanks. I'll try not to kick you too hard.
[He smiled in the dark, before nuzzling deep into him, his arm around the other's waist.]
Just remember: you promised.
