Used to. Back home I'm a travel writer, and before that I was a journalist, and before that I was the host and frequently the camerawoman for a show about history and architecture around the world. I had to get an eye for shots if I wanted a second season.

[Quickly, she adjusts the camera settings to reframe the scene and pan, then rewinds the recording and hands it back to Peter.]

The coffin of Sir Francis Drake. His body, too, or at least that's what he pitched to our producers. He neglected to mention that he fully expected it to be empty...which it was.

[She smiles fondly.]

He was pretty much trying to con us.

[Peter leans back, not looking too terribly surprised? But he does cast a brief, slightly judgmental side eye in Nate's direction. Just slightly.]

Uh huh. And uh, just what exactly was he trying to accomplish by trying to con you?

Oh, he just wanted funding for the expedition. Deep sea salvage is expensive, as it turns out.
