[Peter's actually managed to chill himself the fuck out since the first time he was in the lab (thanks in no small part to Nate, most likely), and is currently hanging out in front of that dead Host tube. He'd come over with the intention of snapping a few pictures for documentation, but couldn't bring himself to actually go through with it. If felt... disrespectful, like it would be making a spectacle out of the Host's grotesque death. He'd opted to jot down a few notes instead, and was just wrapping them up when he hears Wash approaching.]

Hey. You doin' alright, man?

[ He's way ahead of Wash, in that case, who has very little chill at the moment. He stops in front of the dead Host's tank beside Peter, a metal statue in his armor. ]

I'm fine.

[ Spoken too quickly, too sharply, to be the truth. ]

[With like half the old people having breakdowns and shit, Peter's trying to do the super hero thing and keep his shit together. Great power, something responsibility, that shit. He's probably got this.

He doesn't miss how quick that reply was. He knows bullshit when he hears it, mostly because he literally just did the same thing not that long ago. He doesn't call bullshit though, he just nods, watching Wash just. Kinda stand there.]

Somethin' on your mind?

[He glances between Wash and the dead host, taking a couple steps away from the tank. He's not sure what exactly is going on, but Wash seems pretty fixated on this thing. Peter thinks so, anyway? I mean with the helmet and all, it's hard to tell.]

[ Wash doesn't move, doesn't turn his head to look at Peter, just holds still and keeps his voice as steady as he can. He's fine and he'll prove that he's fine. ]

...a lot's on my mind, Peter. I was just thinking we should bury it. It's been through enough, we know what happened now, it doesn't need to be here like some kind of specimen.

[Peter listens, nodding slowly and tucking his notebook into his jacket. It's something that had been on his mind as well, At the very least, they could give this host some semblance of a proper burial.]

...Pratt has a shovel. We'll have to clear a lot of snow, and the ground's frozen, but we can make this happen.

[If he has to go dig this thing a grave with his bare hands, he'd do it.]

[ Wash agrees, and can also dig with his hands for awhile. ]

It's worth taking the time, I think... Maine will help.

Okay, cool. Sounds good. We just... have to figure out how to get this out of here, then. There's gotta be a way to drain this.

[He doesn't immediately see a way to do this from looking at the tube itself, at least not a way that won't just shoot tube goo everywhere, so he's going to start poking around at one of the computers or whatever.]
