[For a few seconds it genuinely seems like that might be all he says, and then he just laughs harder.]

Peter tries to lean away when Taako goes to pat him on the cheek but he did sit his ass right down next to him so he doesn't manage to escape. Don't call Peter tiny don't call him adorable don't pat his FACE- nah it's fine Peter doesn't care that much.]

Kyna offered to show me how to "get magic" too. I just never really had the time for it.

[That's the pretty standard Taako reaction. He scoffs at Peter's words, only adding to the continued assumption that he's semi-nuts, probably.]

[He flips some of his hair, blinking once at Peter with a little eyelash flutter. Never be said this guy does not shoot his shot as far as he can at all times.]

[He reaches down and scoops some snow off the top of the frost, and presses it in his hands. In an instant, it freezes, not into a hard packed ball but a solid frozen block of ice.]

[GOD TAAKO. but whatever, Peter's still watching him do magic things. Well shit he turned cold water into cold water but shaped different how neat is that]

[He insta-froze it, alright Peter, there's finesse to this! He has to start simple for you.]

So this is like, literally the simplest wizard stuff ever. You got a magic word, you got a special move, bing bang boom you can do a bunch of stuff. All you gotta do is keep those parts in mind and really visualize what you're doin', what you want, and you can manipulate it. Check.

[He spins the ice ball in his hands, before slapping them together with the ball in the center. Instantly, both sides begin to melt, and in a second or two it melts through the entire bit into a puddle on the ground.]
