Who: Sansa Stark and Armitage Hux
What: just talk of stars and planets
Where: bar
When: Feb 8th evening
Warnings: none at the moment!
Hux needed a quiet place for a bit and had decided that the bar would offer the ideal place. It was warm and he found a seat by the fire with a cup of tea with whiskey. He had his datapad on his lap as he updated his notes and wistfully scrolled through things he had been working on back in his own galaxy. Updates to the fleet, a new and improved Starkiller- they had the galaxy at their disposal and it was full of limit possibility.
But eventually, he locked it and set it beside him on a table, looking up at the sound of someone approaching him. He recognized her as the girl who had tried to take his arm when he had arrived but she hadn't posed any threat.
"Ms. Stark. What can I do for you?"

"Ms. Stark. What can I do for you?"

Her dress today was heavy - the weather always called for it - but it was dove grey; a color that brought out the vibrancy of her hair and eyes.
"What is that?" she motioned at the datapad, smiling reassuringly, "Something from home?"
no subject
"It's a datapad- it contains files that I can refer to when I want. It serves almost the same purpose of the phone but it can hold much more information though it can't connect to the network," he explained, picking it up and turning it over in his hands.
no subject
"Will it ever run out of power?" she had a distant knowledge of machines and she knew most of them couldn't run infinitely, "I wish I had a datapad of my favorite stories from Westeros. I would like to hear certain songs again too. I feel like I've forgotten some of the words."
no subject
"There are other datapads that can be used to have holovids, music, and the such. This one is designed for my work." However, that didn't mean that there weren't some holovids that he had saved for his personal use to watch when he needed to take a brief break.

"What is it like traveling through the stars?"
no subject
And he really missed it. Even the long trips which seemed to last forever- he would even take the dangerous routes close to supernovas if he had to.
"It's also dangerous if you don't know what you're doing."

She didn't think she could be bored on such a ship. It would be like traveling through dimensions - except you knew your destination, which, if she were honest, she preferred.
"I assume you learned how to fly your ship at a young age?"
no subject
He had heard stories of star destroyers getting rip apart by a gravity well- it wasn't pleasant. He laid the datapad on the table between them, pressing a few buttons before a large holo image of the galaxy appeared above the surface of the datapad.

Because she didn't have a starship or a map to Arda.
"The monsters are awful, but the worst part of this place is losing those you care about. I wouldn't mind if they returned with no memory of me. At least I would be able to see them."
no subject
Because despite every barrier put in his place, he had gone on to do remarkable things in his life and he wasn't ashamed to admit it.
"I was here once before- there have been a lot of changes since I was here last, however. I didn't remember anything about this place when I was back in my home galaxy." He briefly thought of Maglor but there was no use getting sentimental. "They may remember, as I did when I returned."
no subject
"I remember you." she nodded, "I didn't recall my time here either. I think that is normal."
The comfort of his words wasn't lost on her and she gave him a sweet smile.
"Thank you."
no subject
"I don't recall meeting you here the last time I was in Hadriel. Was...a different me here?" That was a strange thing to think of.
no subject
"Mm I don't know?" Sansa thought back and shook her head, "How would I be able to tell?"
no subject
Given that he didn't know her before she introduced herself upon his arrival but she knew him was strange. He had never thought that there could be another version of himself that might have been here before him.

In much the same way that she and her kin favored dogs and dire-wolves.

And though he had first protested at the demon cats, he had found that he tolerated the cats quite well.
no subject
At this point, she would happily accept a demon cat or a demon dog. Okay, maybe not. It depended on their personalities.
no subject
"I haven't seen many either. The monsters almost make me miss the demon cats." Even if they constantly tried to maul him.
