Event Log: Soulmates

Oh shit, what even happened last night? You're pretty sure you had a normal night, no crazy drunk antics (unless that is your normal night). But this morning you woke up with a brand new tattoo, and it's... a name?

Maybe it's a name you recognize, one of your good friends. Maybe it's a stranger. Maybe it's someone you can barely stand. No matter who it is, you kind of feel like you should look for them and figure out what's going on with this weird tattoo. And when you find them - well, they've got one too, except this one is your name. It would seem weird, except as soon as you see each other you kind of understand. Of course you'd have a tattoo with the name of the person you've found such an amazing connection with. You were meant to be together.

So enjoy your time with your newfound soulmate. Who knows, you might wake up tomorrow with a whole new name on your arm, a new connection, a new love. Make the most of it!

Kettara beams. Her gift was acceptable! Sonya Blade is clearly a great warrior to hold such a name, even if she is human, and deserves to be honored as one. Kettara is not an artisan or great bard, but she is a warrior still. Thus, she has killed a beast and dedicated the victory to another.

"It was a fierce battle! The beast was noble and strong."

To the..woman's credit..Sonya did have a number of guys try to impress her when she was younger, but it never included trophies of what they actually confronted face to face.

"I agree with it looking strong." To judge from its head atleast. "You know how to preserve it or anything? It'd look impressive as a wall mount."

Her new partner made this much effort for her, of course she was going to show it off. She just had to find a way to keep it from stinking up the place.

"There are some tricks," Kettara agrees. At least to ensure it doesn't smell. "You approve?"

"I definitely approve." Perhaps not the most practical of gifts, but she wasn't going to complain, not after what was clearly a difficult fight. "Next time you go hunting, let me know. I'd love to see what sort of techniques you use."

Survival and finding alternative food sources was always in the back of her mind, but there was also a good way to bond with someone if they had a feel for it. She knew next to nothing about this woman expect she was clearly not human, so what better way to get to know someone then with a hunting trip.

Oh, excellent. Kettara beams, rocking back on her heels. "I would enjoy having a hunting partner."

She's been alone for a long time, in Hadriel.

The excitement she feels is nearly contagious, and while Sonya doesn't exactly mimic her gesture, her smile widens. She does, however, wrap the head in her jacket to keep it from dripping all over the place.

"What'd you say we head back and you help me with preserving this?" First thing would be to get a tub that could handle stains to let it all drip out of.
