Who: Nagito Komaeda and Leon
What: Now that he's well enough to walk, Komaeda is restless.
Where: In the park
When: 2/23
Warnings: at the moment, none. Will be updated depending on information on previous logs.
[After he was healed magically, Komaeda had a lot to think about. What happened back home, what he could do while he was stuck in this place...
Despite all of this, he was restless. He felt useless staying inside. And so ever since he was better, he had been wandering around town, laying low and keeping an eye out for new information he could take advantage of.
And so he happened to be outside on his way to the Speakeasy. However, unfortunately, by bad luck, he happens to step on some stray twig from one of the bushes and starts skidding and bumping into a certain guy patrolling. If they're unlucky, they will skid and fall into a random bush. Ow.
As per course with Komaeda's luck]

Anyway- he shouldn't probably be so immersed in his thoughts, of what's about to come and questions about his homeworld and if things are still okay in it, if he doesn't even notice a young man approaching and actually ending up against him: he instinctively holds his gunblade tighter, his whole body assuming a defensive position as he turns around... just to relax as he realizes it was just the person now sitting in a bush.]
... you okay?

Oh. He's never seen this guy before.] Ahahahahah sorry about that. My bad!
[Then again considering, his luck could have done far worse. Like they could have fallen into the frozen river. And that would suck.]

It's okay... [Leon simply replies almost offering his hand to help the other up but taking it back as soon as he's on his feet.]
You should be more careful, I could have hurt you. [By accident, of course, but at times his reflexes work faster than he can process informations.]

[And he says these depressing hypothetical scenario with a smile on his face. Such a cheery start to the conversation.]

I only meant it's not safe to approach silently an armed man while he's looking for monsters, you're literally imagining the worst possible scenario there. [And while he's not saying it out loud, his tone is clearly saying 'what's wrong with you?]

Besides, I'd say that the worst possible scenario is always a definite possibility when I'm around.

[He didn't really hear him come closer but, again, perhaps it's just his own fault. Which only means he'll be more aware of his surroundings from now on, he can usually tell when Yuffie is coming closer, a ninja, and- this was embarassing.]
Followed by bad luck? [Leon asks with a slight frown, he's never been too fond of people who sound so... optimistic.] In any case even if we fell in the river the ice doesn't seem thin enough to break that easily and I'm sure we could run to the housing areas before freezing.

So I guess we're not falling into a lake for the moment! You should be fine.

or are expecially dumbcan be good to know.]You mean that since you fell and you had no good luck for a while I'm to expect a sudden strike of good luck if I follow you around? And we're not close enough to water to slip in, of course we're not falling in it.
no subject
Actually, it would more be me who'd get the good luck. And it's true that we're not near enough any water. My point though is that any chance for extreme danger has gone at the moment. We should be safe at present.
