Intro Log: True Love's Kiss

What: The intro log for March
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: March 10th-14th
Warnings: None

You wake up cold and in the snow-covered dirt. Hope you have warm clothes with you, because it's freezing outside- but that's not your only thing to worry about. Contrasting with the pure white of the snow and slush are strange shadows that seem to glide across the frozen wasteland just outside of your peripheral vision. Whatever these beings are, they're not friendly, and simply being near one of them is enough to spiral you into a depression, as if you'll never be happy again. Get too close and you begin to relive the worst memories of your life- get even closer and they might just steal your soul away.

Dementors are wraithlike creatures from the Harry Potter franchise, who can drain the happiness of everyone around them before closing in to suck their soul out through their mouths- ew. While ordinarily only wizards can see them, these particular dementors are somewhat visible to the untrained eye, if only as shadows and dark flickers of movement.

But it's not all bad around here! While you're feeling kind of blue, there's also some toys and various plastic nonsense that looks like consolation prizes one might get from a very tacky dining experience.

Once you've finished indulging your 90's nostalgia, feel free to look around. You can explore the rest of the city! Find a house, a new monster, a project to help with, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!

[Aqua had been looking forward to finding Sora and getting a better explanation, a better understanding of how this boy can be both a part of Sora and a twin to Ventus. It hasn't worked out that way.

But he's someone from home, somehow, and as much as it hurts to see Ven's face and know it's not him...it puts a smile on hers, all the same. When she spots Roxas at the edge of the lake, she crosses the shore to reach him.]

I hope you're not thinking about going for a swim.

[missingache]

[Roxas stops what he's doing and looks over at Aqua with a sheepish smile.]

Only if the ice breaks.

[Which he's hoping it doesn't if he steps out on it.]

[caeruleae]

[The smile is similar to one she knows very well, but not completely the same. Something about the angle of his grin or the sparkle in his eye. Little differences.

She'll get used to it.]

And if it does, what will you do?

[Get rescued by her, probably, because she couldn't stand to just watch. But she's curious about his answer.]

[missingache]

[Hmmm... He grins with a soft laugh.]

Swim!

[And freeze. But he shouldn't need to add that part.]

[caeruleae]

You're not going to swim very far.

[She's pretty certain he knows that and is just teasing, but to be safe, she summons her Keyblade and aims an ice spell at the lake. Through the magic, she can feel the ice thickening as it spreads across the surface.]

There. Now it's definitely going to hold.

[missingache]

I could still try...

[Pouuuting... but that doesn't last long as he watched her make the ice thicker.]

Whoa! I didn't know you could do that with magic. [He just knows you can attack with it.]

[caeruleae]

It's not really the traditional use. But there's all kinds of things magic can do if you get creative.

[She pauses for a moment before continuing. Roxas has explained his origins, and she kind of gets it...but not really. She doesn't want to push him, though. But there are still many things about him she doesn't know.]

Who taught you about magic?

[missingache]

I guess so.

[Maybe he should get a little more creative with his use of magic.]

Uh... I could use magic since I was created, but members of the Organization helped me.
