Who: Armitage Hux and Anakin Skywalker
What: Tinkering with the sonic weapon that was found
Where: Hux and Kylo's house
When: March 10th
Warnings: none yet
He had a lot of things to sort through after he, Rydia, and Kylo had returned from their venture. He was sore and exhausted in a way he didn't know had been possible but it hadn't been in vain. There was a lot that had been gained from the trip and perhaps one day he could venture back there if the gods didn't move their location.
Either way, right now he had a problem. The sonic weapon he had found had a great deal of potential but the damage and deterioration of the weapon made it inoperable. He had spent several days frustrated trying to figure it out before he decided to admit defeat and call on someone to help.
And who better to help than Anakin Skywalker. He sent out a message to the other man, deciding to be vague in his message, simply staying that he needed Anakin's help right away. Once the message was sent, he sat at the table, staring intently at the weapon laid out before him as if that would make it work any faster.

Upon arriving at the right door, he knocked, frowning faintly in concern. Did this have to do with Kylo? If so, why hadn't he contacted him? Every second, his curiosity reached new peaks.
Please answer the door soon.

"Come in, I have everything laid out on the table," he said as he leads Anakin inside. "This has to stay between us- only Ren knows about this other than us and it's best that it stays that way," he said, feeling rather eager himself.

"Well that sounds suspicious."
Not that he didn't want to know. Anakin stared at Hux, trying to read the truth from his expression.

"I gathered what I could along with some spare parts but it's not going to be easy to figure out how the weapon works and how to repair it- that's why I asked for your help. If you're willing. But it has to remain between us- and Ren." He looked at Anakin, holding his breath for a moment. He was sure Anakin would agree....at least he hoped. He really needed the help.

He didn't have a particular opinion on which would be better. The Null wanted them dead and gone, but the gods weren't exactly reliable in keeping them safe.
"I don't have a reason to tell anyone else, Hux." so he could help?

Granted he hadn't been around long enough to see if they came through on their deal but at least they were willing to make a deal. He could work with that- and the Null weren't feeding off his emotions. Always a plus.
"Alright. I'm sure the two of us can put something together."

He lifted a part of the weapon, beginning to draw a schematic in his mind.
"That is a given." he picked up a much larger part with his mechno-arm, acting as if the weight of it was nothing.

He turned his attention back to the weapon, watching Anakin. "Perhaps we could get materials from the gods, feign support and get them to believe we wish to fight against the Null. They are not all-powerful- we could make them vital to their own destruction."

At least he knew to never fall asleep around the man. Not that he would have anyway, but still."You are despicable." yet he was grinning, "I will let you approach them. I'm not good at lying."
He was more the type to run into a burning, crumbling building, lightsaber drawn. Subtlety was not his talent.

"I don't know if they are aware I have this- that will be another objective. I don't want them taking this away. It's our best chance of getting rid of them once and for all."

"I never believed in any deity- usually those who claim to be divine were often just doing it for their own self-interest such as power," he stated as he worked with Anakin.

All he knew was these deities had given him hell.
"They don't need anything besides our rampant emotions." he examined some wires, "I've given them enough."

He glanced at Anakin, seeing the cold in his eyes that matched his own. "We'll destroy them but I need your assistance."
