It all starts with an explosion, because Rage is excellent at managing her anger. But an explosion isn't enough - she hasn't worked out all her feeling yet. Not until the city itself has gotten caught up in her anger at Fear for being unable to save Delight. And yeah, that means you.
So now you're a predator (Rage) or prey (Fear). You want to hunt, or you're being hunted. Maybe you were defenseless before, or maybe you're the sort who no one could be afraid of... but it's different now, because the gods are passing on their blessings to you. All the better to catch and kill, or run and hide.
What will you do? Try to resist the urge? Good luck with that. Who would want to resist, anyway, when it feels so right to give in? Hunt someone down like a cat after a mouse, or flee like a deer before wolves. Maybe you can find someone to help you, whether that means hunting in packs or looking for safety in numbers. Who knows, maybe you'll even make a few new friends while trying to kill your old ones.► This log covers March 13th-March 21st.

Then come here and do it like a man. Point blank. Unless you think an unarmed man is still a threat?
[if Nate stays at a safe distance, he'll have to just teleport himself the fuck out of there, but doing so means Nate can still come after him. Law hopes desperately that he takes the bait and comes close enough for him to lunge. He's got an electric shock waiting and he just needs a few seconds of contact to deal it.]
Room...

[ Nate mutters to himself, wanting to laugh. He isn't stupid - the guy's a pirate captain, there's probably a damn good reason why, and under normal circumstances Nate would be good over here, picking pieces off of someone he doesn't explicitly trust. Confident in his masculinity he doesn't feel threatened by not rising to crap like that.
Unfortunately for his internal processes the influence of Rage's distinctive need to destroy is pretty goddamn strong.
So strong, in fact, that he kind of shrugs to himself, stands, and starts walking over. ]
If you insist.

Thankfully, he only needs Nate to come into the boundary of the sphere of power he just created. This is all he's got, his one shot. It's weak, since he's weak, but it should be enough.
As soon as he's close enough Law moves a foot to get good traction and launches himself up, off the ground and right into Nate's path, swinging his free hand forward. His thumb makes contact with the nearest sub-dermal bone - hip, that'll do nicely.]
Counter-shock!
[the electrical discharge is like a defibrillator, but without a path for the current to travel, it's more like a taser. As long as it slows Nate down long enough.]

Crap-
[ He's fast, throwing his arm out like that, and Nate's gun is up - squeezing the trigger - just as something that looks like a slender bolt of lightning crackles toward him. His shot swings a few inches wide as it hits him square in the chest, knocking him flat.
It's excruciating, ricocheting through his skeleton like the insides of a pinball machine that also happens to be on-fire, fingers twitching like the rest of him. ]

His gray eyes twitch briefly as he can feel his energy waning. No time to waste. A flick of his wrist and he's gone, vanishing into thin air. A chunk of rock appears simultaneously where he had been a moment ago, thunking to the ground at Nate's feet.]
