It all starts with an explosion, because Rage is excellent at managing her anger. But an explosion isn't enough - she hasn't worked out all her feeling yet. Not until the city itself has gotten caught up in her anger at Fear for being unable to save Delight. And yeah, that means you.
So now you're a predator (Rage) or prey (Fear). You want to hunt, or you're being hunted. Maybe you were defenseless before, or maybe you're the sort who no one could be afraid of... but it's different now, because the gods are passing on their blessings to you. All the better to catch and kill, or run and hide.
What will you do? Try to resist the urge? Good luck with that. Who would want to resist, anyway, when it feels so right to give in? Hunt someone down like a cat after a mouse, or flee like a deer before wolves. Maybe you can find someone to help you, whether that means hunting in packs or looking for safety in numbers. Who knows, maybe you'll even make a few new friends while trying to kill your old ones.► This log covers March 13th-March 21st.

[ He may point out her diversionary tactics, but at least he'll be polite about it. She is still kind of his boss, after all! ]
... The house didn't... I dunno. It didn't feel safe, that's where everyone would think I'd go. When stuff goes bad like this, I usually find an empty apartment and camp out for a few days.

There was someone chasing me. He threw a knife -
[ She reaches up, rubbing at the wound on her shoulder. Times like these are when she really regrets not having healing magic. ]
But I'm all right. I think it's superficial.
[ Based on nothing, shh it's fine. Her expression changes when he mentions hiding out in empty apartments, though. World's greatest detective he may be, but he's still a little boy. ]
...How often does it go this bad?

[ He's been writing this all down; the problem is that all of his notes are back at the house. Treating the events like case files makes them a little easier to handle, in retrospect.
Angus tugs his backpack off and starts rooting around inside; from the looks of things, he's grabbed whatever leftovers he could from the fridge, as well as one of his Caleb Cleveland books, a change of clothes, and whatever else he could reasonably fit inside the thing. ]
Here, I packed some bandages. You wouldn't want that to get infected.
no subject
[ Okay, knife wound, preventing infection, that's fair. She takes the bandages and then pulls her collar aside to get at her shoulder. The position's a little awkward, but she can get it. ]
I'm sorry, Angus.
I'm sorry you have to hide.
[ Not just "feel like" he has to hide. Not just feel unsafe in his home, the one place he should be safe and protected at all times. She won't argue with his decision to run and hide out on his own when these things happen, because for as short a time as she's been here, she's already seen how it can change people. She can't promise he'll always be safe with her, or with any of them, as much as she'd like to. ]

[ He takes a deep breath. Sympathy is one thing, but he shouldn't need it, not when everyone else is going through the same thing, or worse. ]
... It's not okay, but it happens to everyone here, and I'm fine. I can take care of myself, and this'll all be over soon. It usually is.
no subject
I know you can. You've been incredibly strong, Angus. I'm proud of you.
[ That doesn't mean it's fair that he's had to be. She nods, moving her shoulder experimentally before getting to her feet. ]
Shall we get to that clinic?
no subject
Before he can think better of it, he throws his arms around her waist in the world's quickest hug. They can blame it on the adrenaline later! ]
Th-thank you very much, Ma'am! Let's go!
[ If he detaches really quickly and starts striding ahead, they can pretend that this wasn't weird because she's technically his boss! ]
no subject
Definitely not blinking back tears, though. She's much too professional for that. ]
Right behind you.
[ She manages to keep her voice steady, at least, a small smile crossing her face as she hurries to keep up. ]
