What: The event log for the Null Attack event
Where: All over the city
When: May 29th- ?

What starts as a normal day will begin to herald in the beginning of the end. On May 29th, you might see something in the sky out of the corner of your eye- blink and you miss it, but there's definitely something there, something that's not any kind of animal you've ever seen. Now that you know to look, you may be paying closer attention to the sky in order to catch the next one that flies past- a ship. A ship that that seems to be designed in a way that might remind you of the Null themselves.
As the days pass, it becomes unmistakable- the Null are here and are scouting out the area. It's time to prepare for an immediate attack and start putting all those contingency plans to good use. Will you gear up for a fight and fall into formation? Will you close and lock your doors and stay inside? Or perhaps there's some other plan that you want to enact?
You'll have time to discuss that on the network later, but now you need to start reacting to the Null's actions- which are apparently to start building smaller encampments around the city as they try to find the way inside. Confusion is holding them at bay for now but it might be time to start building some defensive measures and fortifications, because she won't be able to keep them at bay forever.
When they break in, they do so in a big way- with a massive explosion at Confusion's temple that rattles throughout the entire city. It's obvious that something has happened- and what exactly that something is reveals itself shortly when Null begin to flood the city, having broken through Confusion's protection.
This is when the fight escalates to an all-out war. Nobody is spared, and they're watching everyone from above. What will you do? How will you keep the ones you love safe? How can anyone survive this? All you can do is fight back, all we can do is wait. Good luck, Hadriel.► This log covers the entirety of the Null attack

[no, it's really not. he obviously needs to be bandaged at the very least. so when he nods, she secures her hold on him and takes off into the sky heading straight for the Clinic.
when she arrives, she looks around at the staff attending to people in varying state of injury. she huffs a little]
Is everybody busy? I have someone injured here! [to Peter] Don't worry, I'll either get you somebody or we'll--figure it out for ourselves.
no subject
[This is technically the middle of a war zone, after all.
Spotting an empty chair, Peter motions over to it.] Here, lemme just- I need to sit down a minute. I'll be okay, I just need to chill a bit.
no subject
[she helps him over to the chair and looks around again, trying to find someone who isn't busy. she fails.
so she leans in to get a better look at Peter's wound and bites her lower lip] I don't know, you at least need to be bandaged up. You might even need stitches.
no subject
Anyway, Peter eases his butt onto the chair and leans back so Tinya can get a better look at his wound.]
Sure, bandage. Stitches, I don't- there's no time. I need to get back out there.
no subject
her concerned look grows more intense the more she looks at it]
I don't think bandages are going to be enough. I know you want to get back out there, but you're not going to do anyone any good if you're bleeding out.
no subject
She looks more concerned, he just looks more exhausted. Yeah, he can't really argue with her about that.]
Yeah, I-- you're right. There's not really any room for me to get patched up right now, though. Unless one of those magic healing guys has a free second, this could take a bit.
no subject
she takes another look around to see if anyone's available. they're not. she considers for a moment, bites her lower lip briefly, then offers]
...I know how to sew. I could try sewing it shut.
no subject
I'm not opposed to giving that a shot, but I'm almost positive that I'm gonna pop those stitches like immediately.
no subject
No, you won't. Because I'm going to make sure they're extra tight and because you don't want to bleed out all over the jungle.
no subject
And also he's probably going to have to remove his armor for proper stitches so just give him a second to deactivate THAT.]
Make you a bet? Ten Hadriel bucks says I pop at least two stitches while I'm fighting. Not on purpose, but you've seen me in action. I do all kinds of crazy stunts.
no subject
I'm not going to take that bet because I know I'd lose. [a pause] Besides, I'm going with you when you go back out there, maybe take some of the pressure off. And I'll be right back.
[she goes off in search of the proper equipment she'll need to give him stitches]
no subject
Peter gives her a thumbs up and tries to make himself at least somewhat comfortable while he waits for her to come back. Sitting up in a chair might make stitches awkward but EH, they'll figure something out.]
no subject
and she goes to one of the clinic's stations, waits until the healers walks away for a moment, then "liberates" the equipment she needs and brings it back to Peter. she looks over how he's sitting in the chair and suggests]
...um. Do you think you could maybe scoot your rear end to the edge of the chair to straighten your torso out?
no subject
Ow- mmn, there, how's that? I could always just lay on the floor if this isn't working.
no subject
No, that should work. [she thinks for a moment, then pulls out a monogrammed handkerchief and hands it to him] Wad this up and bite down on it. This is going to hurt.
no subject
[Of course he's going to make jokes at a time like this, that's just how he do. He takes a deep breath, rolling the handkerchief up and then biting down on it before giving Tinya a thumbs up. He's not ready for this at all, but he's got to get this shit over with so he can get back into the fight.]
no subject
[she nods at his thumbs up and begins the slow, painstaking process of sewing his wound closed. keeping the stitches even and secure. she bites her lower lip as she focuses]
no subject
On the plus side, he does manage to hold fairly still for Tinya. Even if he is kind of whining.]
no subject
there's a big difference between embroidering handkerchiefs and sewing flesh. but she has to do it, she has to get her friend ready for going back out there into the mass of the Null.
she knows that he can defend himself and fight back better than most, but it doesn't make it easier]
You'll be okay. I promise.
no subject
no subject
so she continues. she's about halfway done by now]
no subject
I mean he looks miserable right now, but later. After she's done, he pops that handkerchief out of his mouth and clumsily lets it drop to the floor.]
S-shit.
[That's about all he's got right now, just give him a second.]
no subject
but he seems to make the decision for her, popping out the handkerchief and looking miserable]
That--could've went better, huh?
no subject
[All in all, he can't complain too much. Well, he could complain, but there's no time to sit around whining. After taking a few seconds to sit and collect himself, he takes a deep breath and reaches for his armor.]
Time to get back to it, I guess. Those robots aren't gonna kick their own asses.
no subject
[she sits back on her haunches, waiting. she kinda hopes he'll err on the "let's take a break" side, but she knows him too well for that. and so]
You're not going back out there without me.
