The Null are dead. The city is in ruins. But you're safe - and so is Hope, and that means rebuilding will always be possible. The first priority is saving your companions from the ice planet, and Sorrow makes that happen as soon as possible. Whether you're one of them or one of the people waiting to welcome them home, you won't have too long to wait. The Door activates and they spill through along with a hill of snow, and then you're all together again.
Hope brings back the people who have died. The hosts are free to leave their small piece of safety, and rebuilding can begin. But what will happen to you? The gods have always promised to send you home when you are no longer needed, and now it's time. You get to decide what you'll do - as you have so often done while in Hadriel.
Will you go home? And if you do, will you choose to forget everything that happened here? No one would blame you. There was trauma aplenty, and many of you have made more terrible memories than good ones. But that isn't universally true, and some of you might want to remember. You might want to be able to look back at these times with love and happiness in your heart - or at least not forget the lessons you've learned. It's up to you. And you don't have to go home, either, not if you want to. You can stay, and help the gods rebuild, or you can go home with one of your friends. There's so much out there to see.
So make your choice. Stay, or go, or discover what else is out there. You can always come back - if you want to. You can remember the city and all those within, or forget, and live out your life as if it never happened.
It's in your hands. We wish you a happy journey.► This log covers June 21st and everything after

Uhhh, that sounds like work, my gal. Haven't I done enough of that recently? Chaboy ain't doing shit for anyone but himself for the next like, year, and even then I might get Lup to do it for me.
[He's shoving down that same feeling, but he knows he'll make it to the people that matter eventually. Even if not seeing them whenever he wants for now will hurt, Lup has told him about the inevitability of finding their way to other worlds, and Taako's working out the logistics of it all already. It isn't the end, not for him, not for her.
Taako tilts his head her direction, a little raise of his ear as he does.]
So you're goin' back home, huh? Dead set on that? D'you at least get to keep the arm?
late, but tags forever
[ Maker, she hopes so. It'll be a massive pain to lose the damn thing again. ]
...I do. Have to go back. [ She believes they'll see each other again, and there's a part of her that deeply wants to follow him to greater adventures, but...Solas is still out there. The Dread Wolf is poised to strike, and she knows - believes, at least - they'll need her to stop him. ]
But this won't be the last you'll see of me, Taako. I'd bet my second-grown arm on it.
good tag me forever!!!
[It's the predicted, if disappointing, answer. The problem with her is that while he knows he can drop in on the Drakes anytime- they know they're gonna be around a long time- she's an unknown. She could die anytime, and who knows when he might be too late. This is why it's hard to let people in, he reminds himself, but he pushes it aside. At least he has more plan for this than he did a month ago.]
Let me know if the magic carries, huh? Bet your asshole elf would be so goddamn surprised if you charged at him and shot fire out of your hands.
[He shifts, twisting to reach inside a pouch on his side, and then brings up his hands clasped together with something on the inside.]
Buuuut... because I'm basically the, uh, most giving and amazing guy in the world, I have one more thing for you to take with. And to be clear, this is a loan. You owe it back eventually. Be clear with the terms before I gift you rad shit.
