Intro Log: Eight Legs No Heart

Who: New arrivals and everyone else!
What: The intro log for June.
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: June 10th-15th
Warnings: Spiders. Soooo many spiders. New people. Probably swearing.

For once, the new arrivals to Hadriel will not be waking up on the cold hard ground of the colosseum. Oh, sure, you'll still awaken in the arena - but this time the Door has been kind enough to ensure that you wake up comfortably arranged in a very nice chair. Or maybe not so comfortably. Some of those look pretty awkward - hopefully you didn't wake up with a crick in your neck! And hey, feel free to try to drag some of these super cool chairs to your new homes. They're probably not cursed or anything.

As you make your way out of the arena, be careful getting to close to the walls - well, except that's the only way out, so good luck! Chilling up on there waiting to get the drop on you are Skulltulas. These funky-looking spiders have squishy underbellies, but their upper exoskeletons are hard and very difficult to break through. They really just want to nibble you a few times, and maybe suck out all of your blood. No big deal, right? Have fun!

Have you conquered your arachnophobia and managed to escape? Great! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!

She is bright enough to not die.

[And he sees no reason why she would choose to not return - she's been with him for well over a year now and never shown any signs of the spell that his father's song put on her weakening. Or perhaps she is really staying with him by now.]

The bright can die as well.

[ it slips out before she could help herself. sansa stark's father was honorable, her brother had won every battle but they were both dead and gone from the world. ]

Anyone could die.

[muscovy]

[As much as he thinks that brightness figures in - and he is sure that the surroundings are not too dangerous for the fairy to survive by not being stupid - he has to agree there, mostly.

Everyone dies in the end, unless they for some reason don't age, and even then people die a lot. Unless they're unable to die, which can also be a thing.

So he shakes his head.]

Most people could, but sometimes there are people who are just not able to die, yes?

[alayne]

I do not know.

[ she feels stupid to admit it. it sounds impossible but so is her being here so she cannot outright say no. alayne stone is not one to openly disagree with anyone, too wary and too fearful is she. better stupid than insolent. ]

Are there?

There are.

....But not many. And they would not usually say that they cannot die, because then others might want to test it and that just hurts.

[At least they're strongly in the minority, usually.

At that point, Sketto returns and starts chiming at them, pointing into various different directions, and after a moment settling on one of them. Muscovy turns to walk into that direction.]
