For once, the new arrivals to Hadriel will not be waking up on the cold hard ground of the colosseum. Oh, sure, you'll still awaken in the arena - but this time the Door has been kind enough to ensure that you wake up comfortably arranged in a very nice chair. Or maybe not so comfortably. Some of those look pretty awkward - hopefully you didn't wake up with a crick in your neck! And hey, feel free to try to drag some of these super cool chairs to your new homes. They're probably not cursed or anything.
As you make your way out of the arena, be careful getting to close to the walls - well, except that's the only way out, so good luck! Chilling up on there waiting to get the drop on you are Skulltulas. These funky-looking spiders have squishy underbellies, but their upper exoskeletons are hard and very difficult to break through. They really just want to nibble you a few times, and maybe suck out all of your blood. No big deal, right? Have fun!
Have you conquered your arachnophobia and managed to escape? Great! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers June 10th-15th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

Firo doesn't have much of an argument for Victor's point about laws, so he settles for addressing the thing that's really rankling him. "I told you, it wasn't my idea."
But back to business. He folds his arms, sizing Victor up. "Well, it depends on what you wanna start with. I've got an idea, though--how about we go to the caves and I show you how we feed the monsters, eh? You were wonderin' about the spider earlier, right? We've got a lot better than that here."
Look, Firo's a nice guy! He could've just not warned Victor about the monsters.

"So there are lots of nasty things here? Okay then, any chance of finding a way out or are we trapped in someone's little game here?" He's still going to assume Huey until proven otherwise. It's not like this would be the first time an immortal spun a complex plot that ensnared others.

"We've already looked all over the caves." As much as they can with maps not exactly working their best there. "You could talk to the 'gods,' but you can't believe everything people like that say."
It's in their best interest to lie, like many people in official authority. Firo doesn't know what those interests are, but he knows that they're likely different from or at odds with his own.

"So we're all trapped in someone's big experiment. Sort of like Huey but less of a punchable face for me to find?" So many plots, so little time to chase them all. The story of Victor Talbot.

“I don’t know if it’s an experiment, but if you’re really stuck on that…” He shrugs. There’s no arguing with this guy. “Go knock yourself out. If you wanna play detective here, go ahead.”

It’d be nice to just tell him to go get fucked, but Firo’s still wary of what could come down on Ennis or his other friends.
“Look, is that all you want?” It takes Firo a moment to realize it, but he’s not cuffed or anything—he can just go now if he wants.

Of course Elmer would.
So instead, Victor turns as well and heads out to go make his way in this strange place he's found himself in. Don't worry Firo, he's going to track you to your home sometime in the near future and possibly, creepily, move in nearby to keep an eye on things.
