For once, the new arrivals to Hadriel will not be waking up on the cold hard ground of the colosseum. Oh, sure, you'll still awaken in the arena - but this time the Door has been kind enough to ensure that you wake up comfortably arranged in a very nice chair. Or maybe not so comfortably. Some of those look pretty awkward - hopefully you didn't wake up with a crick in your neck! And hey, feel free to try to drag some of these super cool chairs to your new homes. They're probably not cursed or anything.
As you make your way out of the arena, be careful getting to close to the walls - well, except that's the only way out, so good luck! Chilling up on there waiting to get the drop on you are Skulltulas. These funky-looking spiders have squishy underbellies, but their upper exoskeletons are hard and very difficult to break through. They really just want to nibble you a few times, and maybe suck out all of your blood. No big deal, right? Have fun!
Have you conquered your arachnophobia and managed to escape? Great! Feel free to go explore the rest of the city! Find a house, find a new monster, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers June 10th-15th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

"I think I've got some of the replacement stuff, yeah. Do you want some?"
no subject
Not that he would have expected any less from Firo, he's pretty reasonable most of the time after all.
"Have you tasted it?"
no subject
He looks around to check their bearings and find the fastest route. He points down one twisty lane. "I'm down this way." If Muscovy wants to take him up on the offer.

Reestablishing contact, and it's just something that he has gotten used to over the last three years, holding the hands of those that he feels about like older family members at times when he wants to physically "know" their presence with him.
"Your family is here?" Perking up at this. They sounded nice, by what Firo said about them, and he trusts Firo's judgement. He'd like to meet them. ...Or who else might 'we' be?
no subject
“Huh? Uh, no… they’re all back home.” And never far from his mind, but he still feels a wave of homesickness just thinking about them right now. Move on. “I live with people here, though. It’s Bianca’s place, and she’s got these two big… dog-things.”
no subject
His grip on Firo's hand is just a bit too tight, but he looks completely relaxed - if you asked him, he would just be holding Firo's hand normally. Properly regulating his strength has never been a thing that he could do well, and that in turn has never been a flaw that he was aware of.
"I met her! She seemed friendly." Strange, with very weird ideas, but friendly and harmless. Though her ...animals are a bit worrying.

Besides, the kid's new here. It's got to be a jolt, so maybe he needs someone to smile at him. "Yeah, I guess so."
"You did, huh? I guess that saves us the introductions. She's a good lady, when she's not pointin' a gun at you." Despite their less than auspicious first meeting, Firo intends to look out for her.
no subject
"Why did she point a gun at you?"
It could be any number of reasons, really, and not all of them are entirely bad reasons.
no subject
“Like I said, she’s all right. We’ve gotta watch her back.” Muscovy, apparently being Firo’s little brother, gets to be a part of that. Just because he’s a child doesn’t mean he has to stay on the sidelines—Firo’d hated being left out as a kid, so he imagines Muscovy wouldn’t care for it either.

He's observed that time and time again. Most don't get violent, but it happens.
With a serious nod, he accepts the mission. "She is an ally?"
no subject
"Yeah, you can call her that. She's a friend." He turns up a spiral street and stops at one of the first houses.
"This is us." He'll open the door and wait for Muscovy to go in.
no subject
He'll peer around as they enter.
"It is big."
Big-ish, but two floors and at least six rooms if the number of doors is anything to go by.... that's a lot.
no subject
"Yeah, it is." His apartment had seemed so big to him, especially before Ennis and Czes had moved in. This is at least twice the size.
"Means there's room for you," he offers lightly. Though, of course, they'd make room if they had to. It's obvious enough that he doesn't even think it's worth mentioning. "You want something to eat?"
no subject
"Where will I stay?"
So that he can drop off his things before they move on to the kitchen.
no subject
"Uh, well, one of the rooms down here is mine, but I think the others are free. The big one upstairs is Bianca's." It occurs to him that he probably should ask Bianca before letting the kid move in, but... Well, he'll just ask forgiveness instead of permission. Besides, he's sure she couldn't throw a kid out in the cold.
no subject
He'll also head straight for it. Living next to Firo sounds like a good idea, not that he plans on spending much time in there. But it will be much closer if he needs Firo, or if Firo needs him. He'll be better able to make sure that Firo is okay and that he himself can sneak over when he doesn't want to sleep alone. Though he should probably hold off on that for a bit, because while Firo is being very reasonable about them being family (not that Muscovy expected anything else from him), he still doesn't really remember him.
no subject
If this kid's making it all up, then he's very determined, isn't he? It's the little things that make Firo more certain that he's making the right decision in giving Muscovy a chance.
Firo follows him over to linger in the doorway. "You need help puttin' your stuff away?"
no subject
Mostly because he will just place them on the floor of the room for now - some things need to be washed before they can be put away.
It only takes perhaps a minute for him to untangle himself from all the things that he is carrying and come back over to Firo to follow him to the kitchen. Food is waiting, as is spending more time with his big brother, which will make this place a lot less foreign, even if Firo doesn't remember him. They'll just have to work on it.
