If you need anything from me, just let me know. I can do regular first aid or I can use my qi. Whichever would be preferred if you ever need it.

[ She waits until the introductions and explanations are done to jump back in. ] Also a few other staff who come around regularly [ ... or not so regularly. ] Most of them try to be flexible. [ Kate can be a bit of a workaholic but keeping the atmosphere of this place relatively relaxed for the staff certainly helps things run smoother, she's found. ]

[Jo nods and scans the room again. It's a good thing to know, that there are people who would help.]

I bet that's important here. [It doesn't seem like there's a lot of usefulness in schedules here.]

From time to time. [ She agrees, shrugging. ] Just got a clock for this place recently. Been a bit hard having any schedules without it.

Is it one of the apps? [She learned about those recently.]

Aye. [ Annnd if she pulls out her phone... it's this one. ] Beats having the alarm go off at random times. [ Which hers was up until this thing. ]

[Jo nods.]

Yeah, I bet that got annoying.

[dedikated]

[ She nods in affirmation at that. ] So, can we help you with anything else? [ Her eyes flick, briefly, the the bandage on Jo's hand. But they can also provide a few first aid pieces if needed - burn ointment, that sort of thing. ]

[Jo instinctively puts her hands in her pockets, shaking her head at the question. But then...]

Is there enough extra supplies for me to take some to my apartment?

Aye. [ There is always - or at least, usually - a few spare things lying around for first aid kits. ] This way. [ To the stock closet, where Kate picks out a few basic pieces, crossing out some numbers on a stock list posted near the door and correcting them. ]

[Jo follows her to the closet, watching as she marks off the supplies. It makes sense, almost, to keep track of what they do have.]

[ Kate shakes her head. ] Don't really talk to the gods about clinic things. [ Both of her attempts went less than swimmingly, Bruce isn't a fan and - as far as she knows - no one else has been chatting to them for supplies. ]

Oh. [Jo doesn't quite get it, but she doesn't think it's important enough to push right now.]

Sure. That'd be great. [ She'll just note that down in her phone. ]

Yeah, seems like it. Anything else I should see here before I go?

[ HMM. ] Can't think of much. [ Most of the place is beds and treatment rooms and... well, they're pretty standard, if not hopelessly and obviously cobbled together. ] Where else have you visited so far?

[Jo thinks for a moment.]

I've been to the armory. And the area around there.

There's the orchard. Relatively new. [ Worth a visit, if for nothing else than to marvel at the odd fruit. ]
