Well the creatures obviously look reptilian, and the brain follows that train of thought. Wonderfully, there's very little similarity to any of the structures of a human brain. [ or of a vampire, thank God ]

[He peers over at the opened up body.]

I....see.

What about the other parts of it? Things that can help us determine how to best kill it?

[Because that is what is important to him. How do we kill the things trying to kill us?]

That's probably what would be the most useful information gathered from this.

I imagine like most reptiles, cold would be effective. Of course, short of locking one in one of the refrigerators, I can't see how that would help.

[ And then, in a tone of awe and a bit of excitement, Victor perks up, looking way too interested. ] Have you seen them, by the way? The refrigerators are amazing.
stepford_smiler: (This is actually quite fun)

So nothing entirely too special. All right.

[He smiled a bit amused.]

We have them in my world, but yes. They are really useful things of technology. You must be from a world that doesn't have those kinds of inventions.

[ He can't help but still be a bit excited. As Victor talks, he starts talking with his hands, gesturing with them like he's physically gesturing to the dates he mentioned. ]

I'm sure my world will have those inventions eventually. After all, I am from 1893 and a good majority of people here seem to be from my future.

That can be a silver lining of you being brought here then, yes? You get to experience inventions of your future first hand.

[Even though he's not always a silver lining kind of person, but it's nice to see someone excited about things.]

Have you had any difficulties with the appliances? They're not quite the same as most people are used to, so they take some messing with.

[personal profile] pullback 2016-07-19 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Considering I'm not used to them to begin with, I imagine that puts me at an advantage.

You're probably right. More likely to use caution with something you're unfamiliar with.

[Well, the sooner he leaves him alone to play with cadavers the sooner he'll be done and the sooner he can clean up after him after he's cleaned up. Sorry, but he'd rather know there won't be any trace of lizard-thingy left.]

I'll leave you too it, then. I'll be around if you need me.

[ Whatever man, stop being such a butt about the bodies, it's JUST ONE CORPSE. Still, Victor can't help but nod, arms still covered in blood. ]

Trust me Mr. Hakkai, if I do need any help, you shall be the first person to talk to.
