[ She doesn't really bother to come up to people when they make their way through the armoury. It feels a bit too 'salesperson in the shopping centre' to suit her, and the pile of first aid kits are obvious enough, she thinks, that anyone who doesn't notice her hair will probably notice them. Really, keeping her head mostly down has been Kate's strategy since she finally got out of that exhausted haze - try to mend bridges with the people she could, and stick close to the ones who didn't treat her differently despite it.
