OPEN CLINIC POST

Who: Hakkai and anyone else!
What: Clinic post! Newcomers and older cave dwellers alike that felt like either tangoing with dragons and flirting with monsters and got injured, please come here. As well as other helpful clinic staff
Where: Clinic
When: DRAGONS HOLY SH--
Warnings: TBA

[Hakkai is pretty content with his own dragon to go around messing with other dragons. Also, it doesn't seem like that great an idea to go fighting dragons like that. Especially without a solid team of his own anymore.

He's just fine with sitting here and waiting for the flood of injured people to come sweeping in and needing to be healed.]

[ Other helpful clinic staff, you say? Well Pell's made it to the clinic, dodging dragons as he went, as he knows he's no use against them himself and his potential team, so to speak, has left Hadriel. He's a bit wide-eyed when he darts inside, but intact.

He addresses Hakkai immediately, peering deeper into the clinic like he's expecting the place to be swarming with the injured and is surprised that it isn't yet. Uncertain if that's a good sign or a bad sign -- people could be out there trapped underneath collapsed buildings or dragon's claws. ]

Has anyone come in?

[ Pell shakes his head; it's better to stay in here, where people know how to find them. He certainly couldn't hold down the fort alone. ]

It's crazy out there. Let's just hope they don't take out this building.

What kind of a solution..?

Giant angry monsters collapse the buildings you're in often?

[Once the sheer disbelief passes, Simon is 100% in Crisis Mode. Meaning, he's at the clinic almost before the roars have finished echoing, on his comm and tracking the progress of the fighting. He and Hakkai have crossed paths, of course, it's inevitable with how much time he spends at the clinic, but there's never really been a chance for proper conversation--and it seems like that trend is continuing.]

We should have someone here, of course, but should we send someone out to do triage? It sounds like there are a few centers in the cave where there's combat taking place.

[Generally speaking, that's the start to many conversations with Simon. Awkward silence as he tries to determine a proper beginning, outbursts that make the conversational start more awkward. He used to be better at this, but that was before a year on a ship with a mostly-taciturn crew.]

I don't know how many actual medical professionals we have, truth be told. We seem to have quite a few volunteers, nurses and suppliers mostly, but few trained staff.

No, we don't, unfortunately. I'm trying to get a training course put together to at least get our volunteers consistently trained, at least keep them from killing anyone, but the gods don't exactly like to give us much time to plan, do they?

[Not being here at all would, of course, be optimal, but he'd settle for more supplies and a better place to work. Then again, there's worse places for him and River. An Alliance prison, for one.]

True. I just think it would be a good idea to offer these lessons to Hadriel at large. Just in case.

[In case of what? Fire-breathing dragons, for one. Zombies, for another. The clinic staff can't be everywhere, and well, Simon's already seen what the worst can bring.]

I wouldn't mind the help. It depends on the response we get, I suppose, but hopefully we'll need more than one instructor. Do you mind if I ask what your world is like?
