public art project begins

Who: Bruce Banner and a handful of others including but not limited to Kate, Hermann and Mello, as well as OPEN
What: History building log
Where: The Colosseum
When: Current.
Warnings: Graphic discussion of every event the city has had.

It's one of those projects that takes two days off in a row. The first day, Bruce uses to collapse face down, drink several cups of his not particularly excellent tea, eat three square meals and read the book that Hope gave him all those months ago.

The second day, he gets on his communicator, gets the people together who he's heard talking about a project to write a history of Hadriel, and then goes to find some painting supplies. He grabs a few brushes, and a few pots in different colours of a good acrylic that should hold up to the weather (limited as it is in the cave) and eventually, sets out, party in tow.

He makes as much of a start as he can.

"Sure. And it's, uh, Matt." Just direct him where you need him to go, Bruce. Meanwhile, he's going to glance at the walls. Emily's explained a lot - way too much, probably - about this place, but-

"It's... something, seeing it all out like this." All the months and different stories already making their way across the walls.

"You work at the clinic?" Matt enjoys the chit-chat. Hell, the chit-chat and painting is pretty much the most normal thing about this place so far.

Until he remembers that his paint job isn't a pretty coat of paint on his cousin's walls and is an explanation of some random whim of this cave they're all stuck in.

... Nope. Never gonna stop being weird.

... You know, having dealt with broken bones, he can't see a reason a person wouldn't opt for the faith healing. Sounds less painful.

"Sounds like there's a lot of people with magic here." Hell. His own girlfriend's learning how to use magic. Who even knew that was possible?

"And, uh, how'd that work?" Like, a questionnaire on the network? Actually, he'd kind of want to see the responses, even if it's not that relevant to him. It sounds pretty cool - like, who wouldn't want magic of some sort?

Hey, anything on this topic sounds unbelievably cool when your exposure to things beyond the mundane has been entirely down to video games and movies. If Matt's eyes are lighting up, just a little, that's because he's a Teenage Boy and finds this use of science much more interesting than the things he learned in school.

But, first, let him write a little bit about that sudden influx of people.

"I think Chris'd like that." He would too, but Chris would probably be more helpful.

If you asked Matt, he'd probably say you could lose the budding qualifier. Chris is pretty solidly in nerdville territory.

"I'll tell him," he offers with a smile, painting a few more words onto the wall.
