Beth wasn't sure what part of the advice she was there for at the minute, maybe just seeing who was there or if it was true, but she had to admit that having something to do would be good )

she sticks her head out from one of the rooms that function as wards (not real wards, not when this is just a house cobbled into a clinic) and steps out after a second. )

( There's a small frown at first, with Beth wondering what exactly to say. Maybe starting with one thing would make it easier )

My friend told me to come here. She said you might need help.

( Okay, she'd said that Beth might be good at the helping thing but maybe they did need help. And maybe she'd have to barter for tea like Emily bartered for coffee )

( her expression softens, just a touch. not quite a smile, but something glad. ) Could always use more help around here. You know any first aid, or d'ya wanna help with something else? ( some people help clean the place, others come by with supplies. pitching in is essential to keeping the place running. )

( It's said lightly. People are busy here and for how small this place is, and not really a clinic, it's not like she can really learn anything. Can she even help? )

Kate. ( she then shrugs, pen and paper in hand ) Usually need the most after the gods start interfering. ( for the cleaning and organisation, anyway. )

( people are out, doing other things. maybe helping someone in need who can't make it. honestly, Kate doesn't ask too many questions. this place isn't like home, where things need structure. if anything, becoming too accustomed to structure here would be a problem when things go south, when people disappear. )
