What: The intro log for February
Where: The colosseum and all around the city.
When: February 10th-16th
Warnings: Shark week
Once more, new arrivals will wake up on the ground level of the ruined colosseum. There isn't anything particularly comforting about it, either- everything is a bit cold and impersonal and there is, of course, the fact that nobody remembers just how they managed to wind up here in the first place. That can all be explained in time, though- until then, you've got quite a bit on your plate already.
And why is that? Well, that may be because you're also surrounded by sharks.
Yes, on land.
It doesn't mean that they're totally incapacitated though- you still have your two headed sharks, your giant sharks, and your sharktopus that are more than capable of flopping in your general direction before taking you into a death roll. And don't forget the (far more dangerous) sand sharks, capable of swimming through the ground as if it were water itself. You might want to start to finda life rafthigh ground soon.
But hey, if you manage to get away from the sharks, feel free to help yourself to one of the odd food shaped blankets. These cozy comforters are perfect for your new bed, but they tend to carry a faint scent of the food they represent, so be sure not to sleep on an empty stomach!
Listen to the Jaws theme, grab a harpoon, and get cozy! On your way to safety, make sure to explore the rest of the city! Find a house, a new monster, a project to help with, or simply scavenge for supplies. Good luck, and enjoy your stay in Hadriel!► This log covers February 10th-16th.
► Feel free to make your own logs as well!
► All characters arrive with phones that have network communication and the newbie guide installed.
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!

Good. They let out a slow breath, chest loosening as the idea of having to explain things falls to the wayside. They don't have to. He already knows.
How much of it does he know? It's not their place to ask. It's not their place to tell him, either. Sometimes, silence is kinder.]
Me too. Chara's my-- my best friend. And Asriel's really nice, too. [A pause, and softer:] He looks like you.
[That was probably rude.]
no subject
I...ah, yes, thank you. [He stumbles over the words. It's something he's heard before, but not for so long. It only occurs to him after that their resemblance may not be such a good thing in Frisk's eyes.
But, ah, they must not have meant anything. Who, after knowing Asriel, could ever really feel threatened by him?]
You do remind me of Chara. I am not surprised you get along. [...maybe he shouldn't have said that. Again.]
no subject
Haha. You've heard that before. This time, it's not from another source. But then- it also is. He really is like Asriel; or rather, Asriel really is like him.
It's nice and unpleasant all at once.]
I um. I don't know where they are, but- they'll be really happy.
[They hope.]

[He tries for a light tone and does not really make it there. Ah, well.]
You are all living near the Spires, are you not? You should not go farther this way today, there are wild sharks about. [Is that normal for Hadriel?]
no subject
Oh, um, yeah. We live over there, [They point to the distance; to the furthest tower from where they stand. It's probably relieving, to know the kids are situated as far from the coliseum as possible.] but I'm okay? I already saw a shark.
[A pause.]
They don't, um. They don't have tentacles, most of the time.

[It was probably no worse than what his own Guard put them through in the Underground. At least Undyne would not have attempted to actually eat them?
...that's probably still not a point in their favor.]
It may be best if...we returned, however. [He's. Very tentative about asking them to go anywhere alone with him. They've no reason to trust him, after all. But he certainly can't just wander off and leave them alone in this place. His company is better than nothing at all. It wouldn't have been, a day ago, but now it manages that much.]

[And that's what counts. Though really, maybe the sharks are a little more sympathetic, since...they needed to eat. Undyne didn't have much use for a Friskabob.
It would probably be best if we returned. They notice that, looking up at him carefully. We meaning- back to their apartment. Frisk's. Chara's. Asriel's. It could be the first time he sees them again. Or maybe they aren't home.
...
Part of Frisk hopes they aren't.
They don't think those reuinions are something they should be privy to.]
...Sure. It's this way. [Please excuse them for being a little slow, your majesty. They have very short legs.]
