[ Jewelry Store - In a moment, peace came over me, and the one who was beating my heart appeared.]
Yukari has worked in this jewelry shop for years. He has seniourity, and he can't believe that Kylo, his coworker and competition, is actually being considered for the Assistant Manager slot in equal standard as he himself is. Yukari has definitely earned it far more than Kylo has. And he's determined to prove it.
He makes the serious effort to greet every customer with his most charming smile. Male, female. or even genderless, he'll lean just a little too close to you as he shows you the piece you wanted to examine. His shoulder could brush against yours, or his slender fingers might graze yours as he tries to hold out the jewelry to you before pulling his hand back and gently tucking a curl behind his ear. He's totally using his effeminate appearance to score his sales.
Upon seeing you walking up to the counter, his smile is just as charming, and he leans in just as close.
"Our gemstones are simply the finest. We get them specially imported from exotic locations all over the world~ My name is Yukari, and I'll be delighted to help you find whatever you're looking for. A pearl, perhaps? Or maybe the rarest of sapphires." He locks his eyes on yours, but don't let this act fool you - he's a happily married man, after all.

Outside of work, it's not too hard to find Yukari wandering around. Whether it be shopping, getting coffee, or just taking a pleasant stroll in the warm sun, he's visibly out in the open. Perhaps he promised you a date that he never attended? Or maybe he just didn't answer your phone calls after giving you his number? You did buy his jewelry after all, didn't you? And he did say he would be happy to spend more time with you if you would be so kind to make the purchase. Well, this is your golden opportunity to call him out on it and see why he's being such a flake.
Or perhaps this is the first time you've seen him; a new face for him to lure into the works of beautiful, handcrafted jewelry.
He flicks his hair over his shoulder as he sees you, that charming smile from before now traded for a more mischievous one. Does he actually recognise you, or is there another reason for that smirk? It's probably hard to tell. But, for whichever it is, he now seems to be approaching you.

"In fact, I am looking for something with a dolphin on it," says Brennan, leaning away a little, don't mind her. "Anything at all." She finds she loves dolphins. "What do you have? Cost is no obstacle."
Don't ask how that's possible for a high school teacher. It's a slight crack in the illusion but not one that tips her off to the fact that something is amiss.

"Ah, we don't have a request for water mammals very often, so we have nothing premade. But we have our own crafter right here in the store." His husband, as a matter of fact. "We can make it a custom order, right down to the very last detail. Are you looking for a ring, a pendant? Perhaps something much more personal, such as a watch. I have an array of cut gemstones I can show you as a sample, ma cherie~"
Curufin's French implications are rubbing off on him. Oh, well. If it gets Yukari what he wants.
He takes out a key and heads over to a display box, pulling out a rack filled with various gemstones and the cuts that they are handcrafted in.
"If you want to continue with the water theme, I suggest a lovely seafoam aquamarine with a pearl inlay, set in platinum. It would create a beautiful effect of a fairytale dolphin gracefully leaping through the waves, if you would be so inclined."
He points a graceful finger to a stone on the display.
"Not many are aware that aquamarine comes in gorgeous shades of green, as well. With a blissfully sweet complexion as yours, I do believe the seafoam would be a wonderful compliment, giving you an air of the surreal~. However, we can trade the seafoam for a tanzanite, if you prefer something more vivid. Or perhaps you want something more outside of the spectrum altogether. A ruby, perhaps."

(He is not the first person to call her cherie, is he? It feels familiar, though that's impossible. No one here has called her that before. It must have been a dream.)
"That is a very good idea." Creativity is not really her thing unless it relates to science.
And that is a stunning stone, oh my. Brennan leans in a bit closer to get a better look. "This is perfect." The final product will glitter like stars. Like Delphinus in the night sky. "You are very good at th is. I would expect no less from a local business."

"As far as a family heirloom, may I suggest perhaps a bracelet. With an illusory effect, we can thread additional strands of intermittent pearls so it would be a three-layer type, with the primary band made of the platinum and the additional pearls would give it a rain or bubble-like effect. It would be something cherished for many generations to come, assuredly."
