Tyki and Kanda - Moving in Mayhem
Part 1 - Tyki only
no subject
She's making conversation as they walk along. This trip is more for him than it is for her. That's not stopping her from looking at some items for her, too.]
I never did mention this before, but I was interested in joining a different guild at first when I was a child. Coincidentally, that guild was the one that the only person to defeat me was from.
no subject
It's when he's bent over a few items that he's found that he listens to her conversation.] I have a feeling you would've fought with them eventually given the choice. Perhaps even rivals.
no subject
[She catches sight of a tiny bikini that barely covers anything beyond the absolute essentials, walks over and holds it up for Tyki's inspection.]
Very revealing swimwear, like so.
[While she's not a prude, she's also not someone who would feel comfortable showing that much of her body in public, nor would she want her photo taken in any bathing suit - even the tasteful one pieces she's worn on the beach in the past. It's not appropriate for a Lady to let such a picture be taken in the first place.]
You can see how that might be a bit of a deterrent, yes?
no subject
[He listens more than he'll speak right now as he did want to hear what she had to say. It was likely a good sign of respect as well to talk with share and trade back and forth. It keeps things on an even balance between the two.
Yet his eyes are lowering to what she's pointing out and while he doesn't go beet red like a common teenager he is going to stare almost in disbelief at how little to nothing that bathing suit contains.]
How does that even cover anything at all?!
no subject
[She laughs softly at the memory.]
She fed me little bits of information about the guild, and just like any overconfident child, I thought I was the one in control when I joined. She was truly an artful manipulator.
[And yet, her tone is fond rather than annoyed. She doesn't regret joining Death's Head Caucus for an instant. It became her second family.
Her smile widens as she watches Tyki's reaction. While they both have a sense of formality and propriety, she suspected that Tyki's less accustomed to seeing revealing clothing than she is. Though she prefers more modest attire herself, she doesn't really bat an eyelash at it on others. It's common enough, albeit moreso among commoners than the upper class.]
Shall I bring it home so you can see what it covers? I may not be willing to be seen in such a thing in public, but perhaps if you win enough hands of poker...
no subject
[He picks up on that fondness despite the words. In a normal situation he can imagine no child, woman or man would enjoy being manipulated and pushed around. There were some that had their hands in everything and it was true from a young age not many ever got he choice of free will.
Yet you can't go waving something so skimpy in front of him and not expect him to focus on that. He's not a prude like a proper gentleman should be but he's never seen something so tantalizingly horrifying in his life. He's use to seeing people naked but not discussed so publicly.]
I am a betting man so perhaps you should bring it home.
no subject
[It was a mutually beneficial relationship, but recruiting the discreetly rebellious daughter of the lord of the land was every bit as much a tactical thing as it was recruiting her for her abilities.]
Ah, but what will you bet in return, my love?
[She can't see anything equivelantly skimpy for men in the shop, but her eyes do fall on a hideous men's shirt. Oh, look. It's in his size.]
Perhaps wearing this might convince you to let me win a few hands, so you could be rid of it.
no subject
[There are more than one method of obtaining money and power after all. Kidnapping was a method so he assumes she was fortunate that was not the case.
God, that shirt is hideous. He wasn't against color but this was a stretch. It's so out there he grimaces at it.]
I suppose I could make an exception to playing hard to get.
no subject
[She can't help but chuckle at his expression. That shirt is one of the ugliest shirts she's ever seen, and she knew someone who appreciates fine clothing as much as Tyki does would be mildly horrified by it.]
Perhaps we should take it so we can burn it in effigy of whichever god you hate the most.
[He hates all of them, she knows, but he's said himself at one point that he didn't find Tranquility so bad aside from feeding on their emotions like the rest. It's enough that she suspects the hatred burns stronger for some of them than others. They do all have different personalities, and some do more for the residents of this town than others. She's just not sure which of them he hates the most of all.]
no subject
[It is though. It's god awful and he's having a hard time prying his eyes away from it as if it was the most hideous train wreck he's ever seen. He's not an entire prude like others but even he had his standards when it came to fashion. He wasn't impressing no one here but he wasn't just going to allow anything.]
I want to burn it now but that would require eliminating the whole store and I wouldn't advise that. Rage or Confusion. Hands down. Sorrow on the other hand is rather close to that for that stunt he pulled recently.
[He's over that whole family coming in memories a while back and having to kill them but it pops up occasionally in his mind and makes him less than happy. Just look at the way his gloves tighten as his fingers fold into a neat fist just for a moment.]
no subject
[It's why she can speak so fondly of the woman despite knowing that she'd been manipulated by her as a child.
She's very amused by Tyki's reaction, and she'd never seriously expect him to wear that, but she couldn't resist the suggestion jokingly.]
I believe Love was involved in that, too, but Love seems like the most childlike and impulsive of the lot of them. I've never been clear on whether appearing as a cloud of energy is her choice or if she is unable to create and maintain a human form like the rest of them.
[For that matter, she's not sure if "she" or "they" is the correct pronoun for Love. She's seen both used by the gods themselves, but never "he".]
Regardless, we can rend the shirt into two to four pieces to burn easily enough.

Part 2 - Kanda, Tyki & Ikaruga
Part 2 - Kanda, Tyki & Ikaruga
Still. Oops. Now that they've returned to Delight's housing area with a decent haul of household items and new clothes, she's regretting her lapse in judgement. Hopefully, it won't end up with all of these new things being sliced up. Will Tyki be able to resist riling Kanda up? That's debateable.]
Hello, Kanda.
[Hopefully a calm greeting will keep the situation from escalating. Hopefully. She's not holding her breath.]
no subject
No, if anything gets sliced up, it's Kanda's things. However, it's likely a certainty that Tyki will end up riling Kanda up in someway. He always had.
Ugh, why couldn't this be a normal day without Noah so he could get his scavenging done.]
Hello. [ See, normally he would ask if she needed help, but considering that Tyki was there, his help clearly wasn't needed. ]
no subject
He naturally feels his Innocence nearby but largely ignores it. It's only when Ikaruga speaks up with Kanda's voice ringing in afterwards does he notice him at all.
Then he does something unexpected and says absolutely nothing to Kanda at all. Ikaruga has the keys and while he does have his own he's not pulling them out.] You know Mr. Tall, Moody and Boring?
no subject
Kanda and I spar together. I thought I mentioned that to you, but I could be wrong.
[Maybe she'd only mentioned training with Anakin to him, and training her students in the late mornings. She manages to balance all the items on one arm as she pulls out her keys to unlock the door, albeit somewhat awkwardly.]
no subject
Still, Kanda's giving a snort as he's moving to continue about his business. If he can avoid bickering and just Tyki all together, he was happy to try. Sorry Ikaruga, normally he would possibly help but right now he's just all NOPE.JPG while going about his merry way. ]
no subject
[Because he's outright calling Kanda weak from how much he never leaves his home. He'll shift things over more into his arm to try to lean against Ikaruga and help ease her own burden. She can at least lean a few bags against him.] He's lost his will. He's their whipping dog now. It's worse than the organization that leashed and collared him at home.
no subject
[She unlocks the door, and brings everything she's carrying inside, intent on ensuring that none of the items get damaged in a potential skirmish. Tyki's words are more harsh than usual, replacing their usual playful torment with something that sounds a bit like disappointment. She doesn't know what prompted this, but Kanda seems intent on trying to ignore it.]
(ooc- skip my turns until the 22nd and thread away in the meantime)
no subject
Hell, he owes Tyki absolutely nothing whatsoever.
So, yeah, fuck you Tyki, he's just walking right on by without offering help or anything more than that simple hello to Ikaruga! :D ]
no subject
So it's why when she opens the door he'll take a step inside just to place the bags down on the table next to it and grab a sizable orange. Everything was too easy and he needed something more. He almost wished the boy was here because then at least he'd indulge.
So he does what he hasn't done in a while and hefts the orange into the air before catching it and throwing it at the back of Kanda's head.]
no subject
Trying to move things forward, trying to find the Door, trying to do anything involving the gods was painstakingly slow. He had even tried to purposefully antagonize at least Fear on a couple of occasions with no result. So what's the point, he figured. He kept trying to climb the walls he was met with only to be continuously faced with other walls. It was beyond aggravating. Moreso than Tyki in general was aggravating, honestly.
Dude it Allen were here, they probably would have given him an aneurysm with how often he would have to police them. Though, no one would be able to stop him and Allen from fighting either, OOPS.
The fuck you mean, you haven't done in a while!? You invaded his house a couple of weeks ago, you stupid ass hobo!! Kanda was, however, completely intent on ignoring Tyki utterly and completely in an attempt to not start an argument or fight because he was very much exhausted from going on in circles with the Noah. So much so that the orange actually hits him and causes him to stumble forward a couple of steps when normally he would just move out of the way.
Kanda's stopping as soon as he catches himself and just stands there in that seemingly stunned state as he's just taking the time to breathe deeply and calm himself a little, because that certainly did a fine job in royally pissing him off immediately. He finally turns though, steely azure eyes just glaring back at the Noah. ] You know, when someone chooses to ignore you, it means they don't want a damn thing to do with you.
no subject
He hadn't formed a truce with Kanda as much as it was a lax way of keeping out of each other's way but now that he was there and ignoring him deliberately. Something about that pissed him off. He had no friends, no allies, no one for company other than the same woman day after day and while that was refreshing to have something to return to he needed more for other outlets.
And Kanda was deliberately ignoring him. At least Walker would've given him some time of the day even if he'd try to escape. It pisses him off. It makes him claw for that insane fighting that could tear down all of Hadriel. He had learned more about Kanda that he ever truly wanted to and when it came to Alma at the Black Order headquarters at least it was there to gain information for revenge. Now it was just annoying.
He bends down enough to pick up the orange bouncing on the ground and lifts it back up into his hand to lightly toss up and down like he might throw it again. There's a killing intent in his eyes and he's not grinning in the slightest. It's very rare he's ever this serious.] That's a given. It's too bad I don't care.
