Who: All characters participating in the event
What: The event log for the Dreamwalker part 2 event
Where: In your dreams
When: October 14th-20th (the second log will go up on Oct 23rd, please keep the two weeks of the event separate!)
Warnings: All different kinds of dreams falling under the umbrella of Delight, Rage, Sorrow, and Hope.

This time, the weird stuff doesn't happen when you're awake- as a matter of fact, your waking hours are the normal ones. That's because you're forced to sleep by some unknown entity, getting more and more exhausted by the moment as night falls. Better make sure you're always around a soft pillow.

Once asleep, it doesn't get any less weird- your dreams will be influenced by one of the four gods that make up the first week. Something to make you smile, something to make you angry- or something that reminds you of your deepest regret or most vulnerable hope, they're all things that you're dreaming about now for some reason, no matter how hard you may try to pull away from them.

To make matters more complicated, there are others intruding on your dreams who definitely don't belong there, and while they may seem like manifestations at first, it becomes clear that these others are actually the consciousness of other members of Hadriel, getting some top quality exposure to your angriest, happiest, most sorrowful moments. Hope it doesn't get awkward when you see them tomorrow...

You mean with these fucked up dreams? I don't think there's anything we can do.

Oh, I just meant now, actually.

[ He waves a hand at the room in general. What should they do in this moment, now that they're done talking about their horrible pasts? ]

...hopefully the dreams will stop. Before someone sees something they shouldn't.

Oh. Um, yeah. Hopefully.

[She's already seen way more than Michael ever wanted her to see, she's sure, and she's worried about Tucker and Harlan's secrets getting out, except there's no way for her to make sure that doesn't happen.]

Uh... I'm sorry. If I saw anything you didn't want me to, I mean.

[ Wash is quiet for a moment. It wasn't a terribly personal dream that she saw, and it ended... happy. As much as he doesn't like people in his head that's pretty much the best case scenario. ]

It wasn't a bad dream. It's fine.

[ Next time they might not be so lucky. ]

Okay, cool.

[So, back to his original question.]

Uh... I don't know what to do. We can just hang out. It sounds like you don't really do that much.

No, I'm pretty busy. Not here, though.

[ He can only spend so many hours a day training. ]

We've established my life isn't conductive to downtime.

[She laughs, elbowing him.]

Yeah, yeah, I know. Don't worry, I'm here to rescue you. Like your... Knight in cool as hell armor or something.

Alright. I'm listening, where do we start?

[She hums thoughtfully, considering.]

Uh, are you super married to the idea of not leaving without your armor?

We're in a long term committed relationship, at least.

I can do pretty much anything in armor, you know.

[Kyna raises her eyebrows and then, in a teasing tone with a total shit eating grin.]

Anything, huh?

[ Uh oh. What the hell is it she wanted to do? ]

...yeah?

Oh my God.

[He totally missed that. She shakes her head, getting up and then reaching for his hand to tug him up after her.]

Forget it. Let's find something to do.

[ Wash blinks, and then -- it clicks. Oh. His eyes widen a little, color rising to his cheeks under the freckles. ]

Wait, you didn't-- why would we have to leave for that?

[She bursts out laughing again.]

God, we don't, but you said you could do anything in your armor, so I was testing you.

[Read: Teasing him.]

Fine, almost anything.

[ He lets her tug him up, a little wary now about how to navigate that joke. It was just a joke, right? ]

So you don't... I mean. [ Oh my god Wash do you even people? ]

Don't what?

[Use your words, Wash!]

[ Yeah no he's just gonna glance towards his room like ???

Where's Tucker when you need him? ]

[God, Wash. Good thing Kyna has no shame when it comes to this, at least.]

Are you trying to ask me if I want to sleep with you or not?

Okay when you spit it out like that it makes me sound like a creep.

[She grins.]

And I mean, yeah, but maybe not right this second when a kid could show up or whatever.

[ Oh. Shit.

Wash struggles to keep his eyes on her face, because sure he's aware she's hot but he wasn't really looking with that in mind before. Now? He's curious.

His mouth quirks a little at the mention of Eleven. ]

Well. That's always going to be a risk.

I have an apartment too, you know.

[She pulls on his hand again.]

Come on. I'm gonna make you go into the speakeasy if it kills me.
