Event Log: Dreamwalker the Second

What: The event log for the Dreamwalker part 2 event
Where: In your dreams
When: October 14th-20th (the second log will go up on Oct 23rd, please keep the two weeks of the event separate!)
Warnings: All different kinds of dreams falling under the umbrella of Delight, Rage, Sorrow, and Hope.

This time, the weird stuff doesn't happen when you're awake- as a matter of fact, your waking hours are the normal ones. That's because you're forced to sleep by some unknown entity, getting more and more exhausted by the moment as night falls. Better make sure you're always around a soft pillow.

Once asleep, it doesn't get any less weird- your dreams will be influenced by one of the four gods that make up the first week. Something to make you smile, something to make you angry- or something that reminds you of your deepest regret or most vulnerable hope, they're all things that you're dreaming about now for some reason, no matter how hard you may try to pull away from them.

To make matters more complicated, there are others intruding on your dreams who definitely don't belong there, and while they may seem like manifestations at first, it becomes clear that these others are actually the consciousness of other members of Hadriel, getting some top quality exposure to your angriest, happiest, most sorrowful moments. Hope it doesn't get awkward when you see them tomorrow...

[Jo doesn't know who the man is, or the other girl, but she hangs back, watching Ellie as she smiles and dances. It's a new look for the teenager, and Jo likes it.

She hangs back until the man finishes the song and finally approaches, smiling softly.]

Hey.

[Ellie looks - if possible - even more delighted once she spots Jo. She rubs at the back of her neck in embarrassment though, now that she knows they were being watched.]

Jo! How uh... how long have you been standing there?

[The girl standing beside her snickers, and elbows Ellie.]

Long enough to see you've got two left feet, I bet.

Hey!

[Jo laughs as Ellie protests, smiling broadly at both of the girls.]

It doesn't matter, 'slong as you were having fun.

[She nods, only a little embarrassed, and grins at Jo.]

I am.

[Her friend nudges her again and gestures towards Jo, and Ellie gasps a little.]

Oh! Right, fuck, sorry. Uh, Jo, this is Riley. Riley, Jo.

[Riley gives Jo a two fingered salute, and looks her up and down. Kinda like she's sizing her up.]

[For what it's worth, Jo's been sizing Riley up for a few minutes.]

Hey, Riley. Nice to meet you.

Yeah. Nice to meet you too. I got you to thank for looking after my girl Ellie here?

[As she says this, Ellie scoffs and good-naturedly rolls her eyes.]

[Jo laughs, smiling at both of the girls in front of her.]

Well, I try. I don't know how well I do.

[Ellie seems uncharacteristically bashful, and shrugs at Jo.]

You do alright. Not that I need any looking after.

[Jo laughs, smiling at Riley as Ellie protests.]
