It was bound to happen. The Null warned you, after all, and this has been building for awhile - and now it's here. First comes the initial attack, the agents of the Null attacking Hope's temple. Then, an SOS, warning the city of what's happened: a betrayal, and Hope being injured. Luckily for everyone, thanks to the actions of his guards Hope survives the attack. Unluckily, his attacker, the goddess Delight, escapes and lets the Null in.
Flooding into the cave, the Null will attack anyone who they believe is resisting them. They'll destroy buildings and deploy dangerous crowd control weapons, in addition to their sheer strength and speed. Confusion empties the monsters in the tunnels into the city, to help distract the Null. Some gods fight, others provide safe havens, but everyone is in danger.
After about a week and a half of the attack, Fear summons enough power to teleport the city. This stops any new Null from arriving through the tunnels, but the remaining Null must be hunted down and destroyed, or else they'll signal their location to the rest of their species. The danger will lessen as Null are taken out, but things won't really be safe until Fear moves the city again, so don't get too comfortable.
What will you do? Run and hide? Fight? Help the fighters? Turn on the gods yourself? Whatever you do, it's time to make a decision.► This log covers November 25th-December 12th.

Familiar hands grab at the woman's shoulders and forcefully pull her away from the Null, leaving just enough space for Lup to shield her body while letting loose a souped-up Fireball right in it's processor. The robot sputters and collapses once it's core is incinerated, and even if there are more Null spilling out everywhere on the streets of the city, the momentarily pause is all Lup needs to give Elena a look over. To make sure she's alright.
Lup peers down into her face, smiling, but the worry knitting between her brows gives her away.]
Look, I get that anyone would want to be rescued by me, but this is taking it too far, sis.
she's gotta be strong and she's gotta be fast
She coughs and gives her friend a crooked smile. She's all right...ish.]
I know I've got a lot of competition. Had to...
[Stiffly, painfully, she starts to get to her feet.]
oh she's def fresh from the fight
She's going to be fine.]
Nah. I'm pretty popular, but you'll always be my number one gal. [Barry and Taako may edge a little ahead of her, but they can both hold their own and then some in a fight.
Elena tries to rise up on her feet, so Lup places a strong hand at her back and takes her hand, helping her up.] Careful, babe. Y'know, I bet I could carry you to safety. I've been doing mad push ups since gettin' my body back.

My hero. [She lets out a shaky laugh. Lup must have magic powers if she can make that happen.] But I can make it, really.

Levitation, natch. Get you floatin', scoop you up in my arms all hero style, and then we strut off into the sunset.

You can't, duh. [A wave of her hand (it's for show, that's not part of the spell) and Elena is floating just slightly off the ground, her feet stopping at about two inches from the ground.
Now that she's as light as air, Lup scoops the woman up hero style, carrying her with ease.] Let's go make everyone jelly, babe.
