It was bound to happen. The Null warned you, after all, and this has been building for awhile - and now it's here. First comes the initial attack, the agents of the Null attacking Hope's temple. Then, an SOS, warning the city of what's happened: a betrayal, and Hope being injured. Luckily for everyone, thanks to the actions of his guards Hope survives the attack. Unluckily, his attacker, the goddess Delight, escapes and lets the Null in.
Flooding into the cave, the Null will attack anyone who they believe is resisting them. They'll destroy buildings and deploy dangerous crowd control weapons, in addition to their sheer strength and speed. Confusion empties the monsters in the tunnels into the city, to help distract the Null. Some gods fight, others provide safe havens, but everyone is in danger.
After about a week and a half of the attack, Fear summons enough power to teleport the city. This stops any new Null from arriving through the tunnels, but the remaining Null must be hunted down and destroyed, or else they'll signal their location to the rest of their species. The danger will lessen as Null are taken out, but things won't really be safe until Fear moves the city again, so don't get too comfortable.
What will you do? Run and hide? Fight? Help the fighters? Turn on the gods yourself? Whatever you do, it's time to make a decision.► This log covers November 25th-December 12th.

city;
The robot stutters as it's processor is incinerated, before collapsing to the ground, lifeless.]
Booyah!

Lup! I am pleased to see you. How is it going?
no subject
Burning through robots. Trying to keep all of Hadriel from collapsing. The ush. How's it going on your end? Music nights canceled until further notice?
Sorry, I'm really late. Do you want to play or wrap?
Same here. Yes, I'm afraid I won't be strumming the harp or giving anybody a nosebleed from listening to my wild Elvish flute, not for a while. Gotta kill all these animated tin-cans first!
[ He laughs, delighted to see Lup and delighted to join forces with her. ] Look out behind you! [ Another wave of Null are coming out from behind the nearest building, heading for the two Elves. He moves sideways and lifts his shotgun and blasts the first row of them. ]
im always down to play!
One, that's super rad. But two, pretty sure my magic is way more flashy than a silly gun ever will be. Wanna see who takes the most out?
\o/
Yes! Let's have a contest! I want to see this flashy magic in action.
[ And there are plenty of Null for both of them, here they come! ]

The Null swarm them from both sides and Lup turns to the left, leaving Curufin with the right. Her hands raise and she immediately whips another raging fireball into life out of nothing, before hurling it at the nearest of the Null. It's steel casing melts easily under the magically amplified fire, the processor incinerating immediately. The robot teeters before crashing to the ground, accidentally tripping the Null that had been approaching it from behind.]

He finds time to keep track of what Lup is doing, grinning to see her generating those fireballs right out of thin air and flinging them at the Null with the force of a catapult. The Null fall with their CPUs in ruins. ]
Toast them to a crisp, Lup! [ He grins. ]

She shakes her long hair between spells, giving it a practiced flick over her shoulder, before shooting an exaggerated wink towards the other elf. It shouldn't be, not when people are in legitimate danger across the city, but Lup still finds this fun.] Right back at you, kemosabe! Stick 'em right where it hurts!
[Instead of going with her standard fire, Lup casts Lighting Bolt, electrocuting a Null that had side-stepped it's brethren and was coming straight at her. The spell shoots through it's system, shorting out it's delicate machinery, leaving the robot to topple over while it's limbs spasmed uncontrollably.]
no subject
He grins in response to the wink, and then does as suggested, skewering the Null before him right through the carapaces. He laughs aloud when she chooses the Lightening Bolt spell. ] Way to go, and way to glow!
no subject
Curufin throws out that commentary and Lup audibly groans, like it's the lamest thing she's ever heard. But she quickly falls back into laughing before she's throwing another lightning bolt towards a second trio of Null running her way. This shit is too easy.]
I've gotta be up to like fifteen by now, right?
no subject
Fifteen at least! You're ahead of me. I'd better hustle.
[ He grins and blasts another couple of Null. ]
