It was bound to happen. The Null warned you, after all, and this has been building for awhile - and now it's here. First comes the initial attack, the agents of the Null attacking Hope's temple. Then, an SOS, warning the city of what's happened: a betrayal, and Hope being injured. Luckily for everyone, thanks to the actions of his guards Hope survives the attack. Unluckily, his attacker, the goddess Delight, escapes and lets the Null in.
Flooding into the cave, the Null will attack anyone who they believe is resisting them. They'll destroy buildings and deploy dangerous crowd control weapons, in addition to their sheer strength and speed. Confusion empties the monsters in the tunnels into the city, to help distract the Null. Some gods fight, others provide safe havens, but everyone is in danger.
After about a week and a half of the attack, Fear summons enough power to teleport the city. This stops any new Null from arriving through the tunnels, but the remaining Null must be hunted down and destroyed, or else they'll signal their location to the rest of their species. The danger will lessen as Null are taken out, but things won't really be safe until Fear moves the city again, so don't get too comfortable.
What will you do? Run and hide? Fight? Help the fighters? Turn on the gods yourself? Whatever you do, it's time to make a decision.► This log covers November 25th-December 12th.

He drops a volley of baseball-sized hail over the spot where Law is standing, thoroughly bludgeoning any Null in his vicinity... and also maybe him, just like a little bit. Harlan's aim is only so good with these area of effect spells, dude. Anyway, it eradicates all of the immediate threats for a few seconds, at least.]
So what is that thing? [He's talking about the Room, and will gesture accordingly, should Law be looking. Also he's not going to stop talking to you telepathically!!! Get used to it, nerd.]

He's still wary, though, so for a moment he stands there looking around, expecting one of them to get back up or more of them to swarm from somewhere else, so he catches Harlan's gesture out of the corner of his eye. Before answering he takes it down, so as to conserve his energy.]
My Room. [right, these bots are down so he can safely turn his back and stride over to where Harlan is so helpfully hiding] It's how my ability works.

Oh, right, your magic that definitely isn't magic. [IF IT LOOKS LIKE A DUCK AND QUACKS LIKE A DUCK, LAW.
And look he plays support he's not about to get directly into the thick of things? That is the tank's job.]
What all can you do with it? [...Okay, he's earned a tiny bit of ego boosting.] The trick with my spell was cool.

[right now Amputate is his biggest asset, the ability to slice open Null like ripe fruit without having to even be the slightest bit concerned about the strength of the metal. Wherever he goes he leaves satisfying bits and pieces after he's plucked out the processor from the shell and destroyed it.
But, of course, at this precise moment while safely behind a wall, Law shows the drawbacks of his rampage - he's definitely sweating under the edge of his silly hat, and breathing hard. Too much more of this and there won't be any more Room.]

So it's like a sandbox? You can move stuff around inside the bubble?
[That... is admittedly pretty cool. But also taxing, it seems. He definitely notices that Law is looking a little worse for wear.]
You doing okay?

[people are going to witness an awful lot of what he can do, but he doesn't feel like explaining every last move. Besides, he makes shit up as he goes, so a new move might be just around the corner]
It takes a lot out of me. I can't keep doing this indefinitely. [and that moment of distraction cost him a hit - he shifts his sword from one hand to the other so he can inspect himself for damage. It hurts but nothing's broken, good] If you're so good at what you can do, you go fight them for a while. I need a break. I've been at this two or three days now, it's draining whatever stamina I have left.
