It was bound to happen. The Null warned you, after all, and this has been building for awhile - and now it's here. First comes the initial attack, the agents of the Null attacking Hope's temple. Then, an SOS, warning the city of what's happened: a betrayal, and Hope being injured. Luckily for everyone, thanks to the actions of his guards Hope survives the attack. Unluckily, his attacker, the goddess Delight, escapes and lets the Null in.
Flooding into the cave, the Null will attack anyone who they believe is resisting them. They'll destroy buildings and deploy dangerous crowd control weapons, in addition to their sheer strength and speed. Confusion empties the monsters in the tunnels into the city, to help distract the Null. Some gods fight, others provide safe havens, but everyone is in danger.
After about a week and a half of the attack, Fear summons enough power to teleport the city. This stops any new Null from arriving through the tunnels, but the remaining Null must be hunted down and destroyed, or else they'll signal their location to the rest of their species. The danger will lessen as Null are taken out, but things won't really be safe until Fear moves the city again, so don't get too comfortable.
What will you do? Run and hide? Fight? Help the fighters? Turn on the gods yourself? Whatever you do, it's time to make a decision.► This log covers November 25th-December 12th.

[Kravitz knows the answer, of course, but hums to buy time as he focuses on levitating Null parts to strike at- well, other Null. He then turns to look at Lup, flicking his hood off dramatically.]
I wouldn't say I get tired, exactly. [but that's basically what it fucking is, yes.] But I do require a recharge of sorts, from time to time. I don't sleep. Is that what you wanted to know?
[Aaaaand he's back on the offensive.]

[Because you're sleeping with her brother. get it? get it??]

It is not exactly-- [Oh, wow, Lup. He shouts back over the sounds of their battle:]
Nice! Very mature! You're right, I do!
no subject
The maturest! [always] Hey, watch your left! My brother is pretty fond of that head of yours, so try not to lose it, hun.

Sure enough, there's a loud 'thunk' and the clang of metal on metal. Krav pushes the rubble down and away, forcing the Nill back.]
They are so- fucking- incredibly- obnoxious!
[With each word he presses down harder, until an awful creaking screech can be heard from the Null. Seems he can't press any further, though.]
Lup! Some firepower required!
no subject
[Before the request even finishes leaving his mouth, Lup's already in place, a powerful fireball knocking the Null back from where they've been uselessly trying to advance on Kravitz. Even without seeing it, the reaper would hear the telltale shriek from it's processor being melted before Lup was leaping into action against another lumbering duo of automatons, a grin shot Kravitz's way as she was whipping up another fireball to cast.]
So, how's it feel workin' with a lich? Totally weird? You achin' to sling that scythe my way?
[She's teasing, naturally, a sure sign of her trust in him in the way she leaves her back open in his direction.]
I think we make a pretty baller team.
no subject
As you know, I make it a rule not to work with liches. I must say though, you do make a fine exception. No scythe slinging unless you suddenly grow a processor.
[Krav teases back, enjoying the back and forth.]
I agree. It's a shame you didn't think so during the paintball game! We could have cleaned shop, Lup.

Maybe if Taako hadn't sniped Luce day one, we coulda found out. [This was Taako's fault, Krav. Don't forget that!] But you could be right. Bet we could've ganged up on Taako an' taken him out too.
[Look, she loves her brother, but it's funnier to betray him sometimes, okay.]
