It's finally time to reap the rewards you've earned from all that hard work collecting and returning the Hope orbs! Be careful walking the streets during the small earthquakes, but feel free to admire the scenery as your beautiful city reassembles its way back into its former glory.
There are new houses where the destroyed buildings once were, and they're perfect for a single person or pair of lovebirds. In addition, you'll find that the electricity to these new houses, and all other homes and shops in the city is restored. The food is better, the monsters are gone- hey, this city might be livable again!
To cap it all off, we've got a feast waiting for you on the 19th! Come one, come all, and enjoy all of your favorite foods, drinks, and party games. It's been awhile since we've all gotten together to celebrate something good, so get your party on and toss all your troubles away!► This log covers April 14th-April 19th.

I'm so good, Laura. [And it looks like he means it. He's barely made a dent in his scotch, so his cheeks must be flushed red for some other reason. Is that lipstick on his collar..?]
How're you? Enjoying yourself? [He sighs softly, a deeply relieved and happy sound.] What a great party, huh?

Yeah? I'm glad to hear it. [and she takes a closer look at him and grins] And is that lipstick I see on your collar? Looks like Lup's color and everything.
Mostly. [she rolls her eyes] Had a run-in with the demon. You know, the one who killed the sewing shop lady and tried to wreak a little havoc? That was lousy. The rest of it's making up for it, though. [she's thrilled to see him so happy] It is pretty nice. Could use some dancing, though.

His face immediately turns a matching shade of pink, but honestly? Even though he's embarrassed, he doesn't immediately move to wipe it off. He kinda likes it being there, on display. So everyone knows.]
Y-Yeah, uh... I've been havin' a good night. [That's an understatement.]
Really? Hope they didn't give y'too much trouble. [He reaches a gentle hand out to touch her shoulder.] Y'should have fun tonight. Y'should drink and laugh and dance. Y'deserve that!
[Barry offers his arm then with a cheeky grin.] Wanna gimme the honor?

Nothing I can't handle. [she rolls her eyes] The demon was acting so above it all. Who cares? I know what she really is and now so does everybody else. [she relaxes when he touches her shoulder] And, you're right. I do deserve that. [and for the first time in years, she does feel that she deserves it.
she takes his arm with a smile] It's my pleasure, Barry.

[Oh heck yeah, dancing is on! Barry rises to his feet, taking a final gulp of his scotch before depositing it on the table. You're gonna have to finish eating some other time, Laura. Barry takes his dancing very seriously.]
Prepare t'have yer socks danced right off, ma'am.
I'm so sorry, DW ate the notification!
I shouldn't. [as if to convince herself] I don't. She's nothing.
[she can wait. it's been a while since she's been dancing with anyone besides herself. now's the time to dance.
she giggles] I'm prepared. Let's go.

Doesn't matter. What matters is what's about to happen - Barry offering his arm to Laura with a little bow, grinning at her as he asks her to dance.]
M'lady. [He chuckles. God, that sounds silly.] Off to th'dance floor we go.

she smiles at the bow and takes his arm once it's offered. he's so sweet]
