Who: Everyone!
What: The event log for the transition to our new planet!
Where: The city, which has now been fragmented onto four separate islands.
When: May 27th-June 10th
Warnings: Surf's up! If by 'surf', you mean separation from your friends, weird sea creatures, and cold rainfall.

The sun and the sand and a drink in your hand- well, it all sounded pretty nice when you voted for the island planet, but ultimately what you're getting is a bit less glamorous.

The transition takes place instantaneously, with very little noteworthy shakeup, though those of you who are particularly in-tune with the supernatural may feel a bit dizzied or nauseated by the sudden movement. And that's exactly what it is: for those of you who are outside, the change is fairly noticeable, as in the span of a single blink, what used to be miles of desert is now rocky ocean. The city is simply in one place one moment, and then somewhere entirely new a second later.

And that somewhere new is exciting! The islands have plenty of landscape to explore and weather conditions to adjust to, fish to catch, and- wait, how do you get to the other islands? What if your friends or your home or the bar is on these other islands? Enjoy having to figure out who is where and how you're going to get by with only a small fraction of the city to work off of- hopefully those boats will come sooner rather than later...

Them and clothes... Her retirement had seen more unwanted flesh then the rest of her years (okay, she might be exaggerating- she's not exactly keeping count.) Changing is one thing, but as soldiers, they really should be prepared for anything. It is more like pulling nails in keeping them focused and exercising though.]

[He's still grinning, giving a little clap of delight.]

Y'know, just might. He was ready to fuckin' go. Appreciate that in a man. How'd you end up with uh, with that kinda dude?

[If she's not into it, there's gotta be a story there.]

I didn't end up with him.

[Although she kind of did, just not really.

There is a huff, debating how to respond to that. On the surface, most of them don't work together. They are different- different backgrounds, different mentalities, just, really different.

But, they are family. All of them.]

What do you actually know about him?

[He shrugs.]

I'unno. Basically nothing. I think my sister knows some of his friends. What, he like, your boyfriend or something? If you're gonna get mad at me for looking at his cock that's so on him.

[He's still paying penance to Elena for one glimpse of Nate's schlong. He refuses to catch shit for it again.]

[His sister knows some of- turning her mind back, Carolina's mind supplies the name, yet before she can say Lup, he speaks. Her face scrunches up at the question. She's going to cut that off right here and now.]

Uh. No.

[Because no on so many levels.

He's family, certainly, but there's never going to be a 'CarolinaandTucker' in that sense of the word.]

Your sister's Lup, right?

[He only laughs harder at her obvious discomfort, because that's the kinda guy he is. He never really thought they might be an item anyway. A guy that whips his dripper out on the network does not date a woman with this few smiles. Regardless, the conversation is coming back to him, so he has more to say.]

Uh, yeah. Twins, babe. Can't be that hard to figure out.

[They still get mistaken for each other, every once in a while. They've both been in Hadriel too long to pull it super well, though. It's mostly newbies.]

[She can completely understand why Tucker speaks with them. Carolina had gotten along fine with Lup, although it seems that the twins together is double the trouble, to literally go there. But yes, the resemblance is there, down to the terminology.

There is a pause, before a soft snort.]

Makes sense.

[They specialize in being double the trouble, honestly. May their reign never be toppled. He flips some hair over his shoulder, looks back to the knives doing their work and checks in close at their progress.]

Well, guess I got at least one laugh out of ya. I'll uh, have to take that as a win. At least you're meeting the better twin now, so you don't have to feel so, uh, so out of it.

[One is more than others have gotten, and he hasn't gotten his ass kicked by her, so that is another positive, whether he knows it or not.]

I dunno about that... I mean, Lup was pretty impressive.

[Listen, he's been shown up by many, many impressive women over the years, he'll take any plus he can get.]

I mean, yeah, don't get me wrong, she's pretty killer. But you want the original Taako, full stop, trust me.

Oh? How come?

[As no doubt it would be an interesting and unique answer that he'd give as to why come she could want the original Taako.]

[He just keeps grinning, punctuating it with a little laugh.]

Man, where do I even begin. First, better magic, natch. She just has fire, I can do flames and more without even tryin'. Plus I'm way more stylish. Better chef... there's a ton. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's still way over every other scrub here. But when it's the two of us, I'm def the better twin.

She agree with that?

[That dry hint of humour to her voice, as Carolina would be completely surprised if she did... Then again, she doesn't know either of them well enough to actually be able to judge that. Growing up, she never had a sibling. Epsilon has been as close as she's gotten to that, and they are drastically different.]

[He just shrugs.]

I mean, she's not around to tell me I'm wrong, so. I'm right as far as you know.

[Sooo like, take his word for it. Defs. Would he lie to you??]

That's a whole bunch of words for something as simple as no.

[Dry mirth echoing in her voice as she levels him with a look. It doesn't stay for long, but it's not like she has a horse in this race anyway.]

I'll leave you to your... work though.

[He laughs, obviously delighted with that answer, before giving her a little wave.]

Yeah, yeah. You ever wanna take it for a spin, let me know. I'm sure we can work out some sorta trade.

[Because like hell he's letting people borrow his shit for free.]

[Oh, there is a little snort there. She can't say using it as at the top of her list of things to do, but there is curiosity at what he would charge. Something ridiculous, likely.]

I'm not entirely certain I want to know what you'd trade for...

[Running around the islands screaming he's better than his sister...? Who knows.]

[He shrugs.]

I dunno. I'm a dude who needs things. And I do mean that as like, things, this isn't some creepy ass sexual thing. But it depends what I need when, y'know?

[A small pause, while he considers his options here.]

Tell you what. You wanna use it, call me and make me an offer. We can go from there.

[She can't see herself calling to ask to use it.

But she also never would have seen herself with the team that she is currently with, let alone with some semblance of normalcy and even happiness in it. Not that it is all sunshine, because there have still been losses, and damn if she is going to lose anyone here.]

I'll keep that in mind.

[A small curt tip of her head, more soldier-ish than anything else, before she moves on.]
