You all get some warning to prepare, which is great. A little time to stock up on supplies, make sure everything's where it supposed to be, call your friends in from their fishing boats. And then the city moves. It happens in the blink of an eye - one moment you're on islands, surrounded by ocean, and the next? The next you're surrounded by frozen ground, the temperature has dropped significantly, and even the sky looks different. The air has a bite to it, that familiar feeling telling you it's thinking about snowing soon. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday soon.
The city has rearranged itself back into that old, familiar shape, instead of spread out across islands like it was a moment ago. Maybe that'll make things easier for you, maybe it won't, but it also means the return of the lake and river that used to bisect the city - only now they're frozen over. This climate also means it'll be hard for any plants not otherwise protected to survive - and that you, too, will start feeling that cold if you're away from a warm place for too long.
And warm places might be in short supply, because when the city moved the gods did not. What does that mean for you? Well, whatever supplies are in the shops at the moment the city moves are the only ones left. No new food supplies, no new clothing, nothing. In addition, the power across the whole city is out, including water and heating. Anything else powered or supplied by gods (the hot springs, the mopeds, what's left of the orchard, the armory, the GPS) will not work.
You're on your own. Try not to die.► This log covers November 21st-30th.
► Feel free to make your own logs, as well
► Please tag headers of threads with content warnings where they apply
► Please put your character's name and open/closed in the subject line of your starters!
► If you freeze to death, starve to death, are eaten by the local animals, fall through the ice, or find some other exciting way to die, please let us know here, and be aware resurrection will not be currently happening. You stay dead - for now.

Ah yes of course that poor excuse for a lab. I'm sure they could at least test for that, hopefully.
[ He's just being himself...debbie downerscream. Though he honestly doesn't care either way if people get poisoned?! But he doesn't outright say it. ]
I am more interested in those metallic structures in the distance than the local fauna. Perhaps there will be something of use to be retrieved from them.
[ Back to scrounging around old relics, ugh, annoying as it is it's probably not a bad place to start. ]

I've seen high school labs with better equipment than what we've been able to scrape together, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
[Peter would give his left kidney for more than one friggen computer, ngl.]
I would love to get out there and see what's up, for sure, but unfortunately us meatbags have to worry about the whole not starving or freezing to death thing first. What about you, big guy? How's your fuel situation going?

Unfortunately we Cybertronians do not fare well in the cold either. But so far it's not cold enough to do any damage. [ He'll give Peter a look before letting out an annoyed huff. ]
If you must know it is fine, for now. It doesn't help that the gods up and abandoned us on this wretched frozen rock. And what exactly am I supposed to do if my energon runs out?!
[ He sounds so angry as he says that. The nerve of them. ]

[for all the fleshpeople, they can at least hunt the local wildlife for dinner, but unless Robro over here can convert the alien squirrels into biofuel or something he's up Shitcreek. Alas, poor Starscream.
Can Peter have your cool gun arm when you die?]no subject
[ Is he annoyed? He sure is. Though he gives Peter a look as he lets out a grumble. ] We are capable of going into stasis, yes. But it is only for extenuating circumstances.
no subject
...This place sucks.
[he's too cold to be super optimistic about all this ngl.]
Do these circumstances count as extenuating yet, or are you still good for a while?
no subject
[ He knows times are desperate but come on?! ] I will be fine, just worry about yourself. This is nothing that I'm unused to.
no subject
And honestly, if this sort of thing is something that you are used to, it's really not convincing me to not worry. I can't help it. I worry about everyone.
no subject
Please. I don't need a human worrying about me.

Let's just try not to die. The god that everyone says can do the raising the dead thing isn't even here, so if we die we're gonna stay dead either way. And you said Unicron, right? Not unicorn? Because now I'm just picturing unicorn blood and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
And, since I'm bombarding you with stupid questions anyway, what's it matter than I'm human? I could probably bench press you, don't act all big and bad just because you're all metal and can turn into a really cool jet.
no subject
And yes it is Unicron not...whatever you just said. [ Starscream gives him an incredulous look. ] Why? Because I haven't met a human that isn't in it for themselves and backstabbing. I sincerely doubt that you could lift me either. [ He is around 25,000 pounds. But he also doesn't know about Peter's inhuman abilities. ]
But when you say it like that I can't help but wonder why I shouldn't.
[ He might shift his wings behind him as he just gives a wide shit eating grin. ]

[GOD but turning into a jet is SO FREAKING COOL though]
